cm 690 led mod help...

hi.. im planing to put change the fans in my CM690 II to all with blue led but is it possible for the led to be controlled with the led switch that control the led for the front fan?? i want the led to be able to be turned off and on when i want to just like the fan in front of the case

for normal LED fans...no. u need to get special fans that has a seperate power supply for their LEDs
one of the AC Ryan models has them. but dont think u can get it here. cant remember the model though...
and i think CM might have oso...not too sure.

enermax fan has this function, around rm 50 each at sri comp, more long lasting than normal rm25~30 fan link

haha... CM 690 II kan ade switch boleh off and on the led fan... i nak tukar semua fan to led fan and i nak all boleh off and on the led...
Added on May 20, 2010, 9:36 pmenermax fan have separate switch or can it use the CM 690 II switch?

i'm usin acryan fan,it got 2 3pin connector 1 for led,another 1 for fan. if wan to switch off the led oni have to buy a swith to control it.

enermax fan have separate switch if dont want led better dont take fan with led , distracting when sleep while torrenting

try DIY it...or wan easy change all fans to non led fan and put CCFL...

u mean u wanted to use the ON/OFF switch which is next to the e-sata port to turn OFF/ON all the LED at once?
u could use the 3pin Y-extender
