The latest Futurama S7 episode "Lethal Inspection" brought tears to my eyes. And what's surprising, it's involves two of the most unlikely pair-up of all the Futurama characters: Hermes Conrad and Bender!
EH??? But I think the guys are now becoming more inclusive of each other. Its not just the Fry, Leela, Bender show no more.
Yeah but you never see Hermes and Bender get together or have adventures together. You'll be surprised how much Hermes' and Bender's history go way back. Heart-touching to say the least.
He's the "other" kind of "late". This episode may be the first episode the series has an original song, since Fry composed an opera for Leela in the last episode of season 5 "The Devil's Hands Are Idle Playthings".
Another great episode of Futurama! Lotsa cameos from the older episodes from past season and the movie DVDs! Elzar says Bam!

since u're a big fan of futurama, are you a big fan of the simpson since they're from the same creator
Nope. I mean, I like The Simpsons, but not to the fanatical level as I am with the Futurama characters. There is a unique, clear cut distinction between all the characters in the Futurama universe, not like the Simpsons where the character numbers are getting too many , the same voice actors try to voice them over differently, but still end out sounding the same. It's like they're trying to spread too little butter over too much bread. Futurama? The butter/bread combo is "just nice"! They made the character difference enough so that you can singularly identify with them without you having to keep trying to remember "eh who is that character that drinks himself to drunk in Simpsons" or "I cant recall what are the name of those two co-workers of Homer Simpson at the nuclear plant?" In Futurama, even the janitor has a different but identifiable character traits/attitude, he's Scruffy, The Janitor!
It's 8 for 8, the latest Futurama episode "That Darn Katz!" is hilarious!
Bender: "Aww, its anus looks like an asterisk!" to the cute Prof. Katz ...errrr, cat.
In the end, the episodes PROVES that cats and their lolcat equivalents are EVIL! This episode revolves around the collaboration between Amy Wong and Nibbler, another unlikely combo, after last Futurama episode "Lethal Inspection" revolves around Bender and Hermes. The end result? Earth now turns the wrong way, but it kept turning anyway, and Amy finally graduated into her doctorate-ship after being Prof. Farnsworth long-term internship for 12 years! LOL!
I'm glad they moved the characters along to their career paths and explore their future possibilities. Not like the stagnating Simpsons and their perpetual non-growing-up. Long Live Futurama!
