fyn is not around. i am his assistant. you should buy slim. coz phat is spelled wrongly. i heard tongkat ali can make u last longer. the price is pretty standard. 1299rm for ps3 slim 120g mal set. if singpapore a bit cheaper by 100+.

Do you have any recommendation where I can buy PS3 and games?

ps3: sony stlye, or here at lyn. just go to garage sale and search for "PS3 slim" - only about 100+ vendors will pop out. hope that's enough for u for a good canvassing

games: also at lyn, just go to garage sale as search for "PS3 game". again about 100+ entries will pop out. if u prefer d traditional brick and mortar shops, then i would suggest u do the same as above. coz those sellers also have shops.

recommendation? choose the best deal lor. is pretty standard. if u want to squeeze the sellers to death u may do so for a few ringgit savings.

for console, i suggest sony style, can test the unit, got warranty, and any problem just storm in the shop RAGE RAGE RAGE and they will change new unit for you =P

For games i recommend lowyat dealers like Pbbseller or ilikepanadol as they always get their stock fast and sell cheap compare to shops

if budget is not a constraint for you, straight get from Sony Malaysia, or ?..if u tend to have some budget / plan to save up by any means u can, go for SG or HK set or just any, with pretty decent cheaper price...on general terms, ps3 slim processing is better than ps3 phat in the sense that, till now, not much to No complaint at all about their performance, altho loading time may be abit slower, but that is just by mili second and you wont realize it, besides the slim version uses less electricity..hehe.

and if you find that you dont like matt surface of slim, can always send to me for a customized paintjob.

Hmmm.... Just some info on ps3...
I dont think they are selling the gen1, gen2 n gen3 ps3 (the so called fat ps3) anymore... all selling the slim version (gen4)...
If u havent get ur ps3 yet, do try to get the latest version model CECH-2106X. It has a better heat efficiency....
Hmm.. if u get from official sony, u'll get an extra 90days warranty (registered via online).. not sure whether u'll get that 90days extra warranty if u bought from non-official sony..
