u can buy HOTLINK prepaid card and active the prepaid broadband, same as maxis prepaid broadband, as they are the same thing,..

maxis prepaid is too damn expansive and limited....

Guys, I subscribed the 3GB maxis broadband package and the normal monthly bill should be RM58 after RM10 rebate for 5 months. I just viewed the invoice via maxis lauchpad and the total amount that I need to pay is RM54.15 instead of RM58. Why??????

hey..i dun quite understand the Ultimate Broandband thingy..

is it that u pay for,let's say, the HTC Flyer (Rm2499), then u get 24 months of internet?..or that u still have to pay RM 148 per month for 24 months?..
how does the plan works?

please don't sign up for maxis BB!!! you will surely regret it. i have been using it for years and i regretted every minute of it!! the day i terminated the service i was so relieved!! My advice is forget the wireless broadband crap because its not broadband but slowband!!:-p i have been using Unifi for few months now and really enjoying the service. hope you wont repeat the mistake i made with the rubbish maxis broadband.

Ok guys, I am having problem in the morning, 5.30am, 6 am, 7am totally cannot connect at all. Signal on my phone keeps showing G, UMTS, HSDPA and HSPA.

within your quota , u will get whatever speed at max on your area, depends on your signal tower, how many user connected, and your device too,.

i have used maxis broadband before. was sorta hoping it would be good as a wireless broadband but it reli wasn't.

used it at different places but speed still so slow. as in below 100kbps speed. at the end i was just waiting to terminate it.

Yours too? Happens to me daily, after 8 or 9am onwards only can use and speed very good, at midnight not sure cos sleeping liao.


The shop I buy the phone from recommend me maxis, also another customer there say maxis good. So I give a try. Now dunno want to continue using or not. Already spend rm80 including topup. Mine is prepaid.
