Maxis broadband sucks! I have been using it for 1 weeks, at first it was smooth and speedy. After 7 days of the trial period, the problem started to occur.

I can get connected to Maxis bb but I cannot browse any website. WTH is this? I contacted them and they said they would take 3 - 7 working days to solve my issue! WTH man! 3 - 7 working days?

I'll file a complaint to MCMC if they cannot solve my issue or should I complain them now? vmad.gif

what do you mean by "trial period" and which package you are using?

i have the same case before. normally if the quota limit is reached, i'm unable to browse or really slow speed.
but on the next month, although the quota limit is not reach yet, the speed is really terrible and i terminated my plan.

recently i have the same case again with a new plan, but luckily i've solved it by changing the modem. fyi, in my location, uia gombak, when i'm using the modem that can support more than 7.2mbps i'll get a really slow speed or even unable to browse the internet. but when using the modem that can support only up to 3.6mbps, i'm able to surf without any problem.

can this same wireless broadband service be integrated into a simcard with a regular maxis number? cause i heard that maxis allows 2 numbers in one sim right? so, will this work? I have a regular maxis postpaid number and i'd like to have the broadband internet in it at the same time

without the pps 6GB is rnough, with the pps, i think is confirm more than 6Gb,..

Maxis is SUCK!!!

I hav signed their package in March 2011 and returned to them after 3 days (within 7 days trial period) as there was no coverage in my area. Then I only noticed that not all Maxis store will accept the return except for Maxis Centre which located at Maxis tower, cheras or putrajaya. Nvm, i went there and returned but they said I can only get back the refund in 5 weeks time. shakehead.gif

After 5 weeks, what i received from Maxis was the bill to charge me RM100 activation fee (which i hav paid on the spot when signed the package), penalty RM100 for cancellation and RM 8.75 for 3 days usage. I m very angry and called to Maxis, the lady very politely said that she will help me to lodge a report and ask me to wait for another 3 weeks.

After 2 weeks, I received bill from Maxis again which has cancelled the penalty and activation fee. The balance is negative RM 91.25. So, how i can get back the refund? I called to Maxis again and ask when they really want to give me back my refund. The lady said they need time to prepare the cheque so ask me to wait for another 6 weeks. doh.gif

As a big company like Maxis, I m so surprise that their works are so "efficiency". And they also cheated me on the 3 days usage which was not written in the signing up form as they will deduct any money for the trial period which I never benefit for as there is no coverage at my place.

I will never trust Maxis anymore!!!! sweat.gif

RM68. Take package SIM only without modem. No registration fee, no contract.

You can file a complaint to MCMC or CFM regarding this issue. Or else you have to wait and wait and WAIT!!!!!!!!
