Yaya + Bojan + 35M = Bon voyage Cesc.

Pique is through and through barca and won't leave. So is Pedro.

Like i said, IF the rumors are true, wish Cesc all his luck in his career and many thanks for his contributions.

Even if he leaves, he's nowhere near the Judas scum Cashley. Certainly cesc won't be a legend, but should still be regarded as a hero!

Everything is all about training. Same as the way how Henry was converted from Winger to Striker, Eboue converted from RB -- > RW.
It's the coach job to train & change their mentality & playing style.

Yes mr bench coach. Go take your coaching license quick. With you as manager, any team you manage will surely be invincible seeing that most forummers here also agree with me that disagreeing with you is a SIN in itself!

Casa for manager!

Seriously Barca players are acting like the scum of the earth. What the hell is with their tactics of trying to unsettle players of another club.

Barca may be world class in footballing talent, but in the sense of fair play, LOL, even CR9 is light years ahead of them.

The embarassment of harassing the Inter hotel the whole night before their match to give them no sleep, the diving antics , most infamously the one that got Motta sent off and the public display of saying Inter be crushed at the Camp Nou before they even played. Well then Xavi should have left the Barca when they won nothing significant from 99 to 2004.

HAH! go dai in mudslide Xavi. It'll be "criminal" if you don't

Here in Arsenal, the players are keep on passing the ball even inside the penalty box the players still want to dribble. Seems like no one dare to shoot for goals except for Arshavin.  Hoping AW sign more players like Arshavin & Robben who are selfish.
*
So in the previous page, you say that Robben WON'T play for us because we play "beautiful" but at the same time AW should sign him for us? Stop talking out of your *** seriously. The style of play Munich and we employ are the same, is to play an attacking game. Now go lick off Mourinho in the Inter thread mad.gif

First class lalang!

Lol... latest article on soccernet. Cesc's dad is CONVINCED his son will play for barca next season. so instead of a judas player, we have a judas father who totally forgot who made his son who he is today.

Right now Cesc isn't saying anything, so I'm keeping a glimmer of hope that he stays. What annoys me to no end, is Barca's unsettling tactics. It truly is a disgrace that the club, makes no formal approach until getting basically half the team to drive a wedge between the targeted player, his club and contract so they are there to pick up the scraps.

It's dumbfounding really. And it's not the first time this has happened between Barca and Arsenal.

I've lost all respect for Barca seriously. For being arguably the "best" club team in the world, their conduct is no different to a C*ntalunya steet wh*re.

From Cesc's latest statement, what really bothers me is the fact that Wenger is IMO wasting too much time. To settle things after the world cup is too dangerous and late.

Right now, If cesc commands a fee of say 45 million and barca pays us the full sum + what they currently OWE us for Hleb and Henry which is reportedly around 13 million, I say do it now, and build the team ASAP. 58 million is a lot of money.

Say gourcuff is 25 million, a quality gk 7 million, we still have 20 ++ million to spend. I'd say spend that on 2 defenders or 1 defender and another combative defensive minded midfielder.

Offload Diaby for 5 million + free Denilson package to any club.Life be good!

TS, well we're not the ones pushing the sale to them. They flirt daily with cesc rumors, so if they want him pay up. Im in touch with reality as well. The reports of 80 million quid is just ridiculous. I mean anything above 45, I'd say let him go. Cesc's weekly wage can cover a GK and Defender's wage as well at 110k pounds a week.

The kid seems to have a bright head, so if the transfer fails this summer, its not because we're holding him back, more to the fact that barca is totally lowballing with their offer of 30 million. Hell, they were pushing yaya for 25 million, and cesc is only worth 5 mil more? Joan Laporta better put down that magic pipe that he's smoking.

I say to hell with Arsenal and Arsene in particular being a nice guy. Time to tap players just like everyone else is doing. We're just losing out by being nice. If Cesc leaves, good luck to him in Barca, thanks for everything and good riddance.

Just raid Bordeaux again for Gourcuff.Hell, I'll even go to pray everyday just to get him. He's bloody good plus his link up play with Chamakh is excellent. Get the french connection back in the team again with Clichy, sagna, nasri, diaby and yoann. get Pape Diakhate, Metrsacker, Rob Green and another combative midfielder. The team will never look better and we'll be raiding for the BPL top spot next season.

As good as Cesc is, this is just plain disruptive to the team, his whole transfer fiasco. Especially after just recently signing a new long term contract, I can't help but feel he's a minor Judas anyway in his conduct this time. And no man is bigger than the club, he can more talented than he already is, but surely this "one man show" idealogy is getting old. He can't win us titles single handedly.

We can be stronger with the transfer funds we earn from his sale. Provided Wenger will ACTUALLY buy. I'll be damned if he promotes Denilson to starting 11. For sure then I'll join the doom mongers and call for his head! laugh.gif

Insane 1 touch finishing from RvP against Mexico. Kinda reminds me of his cracker against Charlton seasons back. Now for him to do it more often for Arsenal.

What has been really disturbing lately apart from the Cesc saga for me lately is the STUPIDITY of our chairman. Have you guys noticed. While other chairmans are busy promoting their club and saying how great their players are, Hillwood the dumb old fag has been making rather stupid and pretentious statements of late.

First, he publicly says "Ahh, Barca wont want Cesc, he WONT make into the team in the first place, I don't think he's good enough. Totally disrespectful of Cesc and demoralizing to a player who is playing for YOUR club"

Now when Barca is courting our players, he makes another stupid statement at the wrong time saying Wenger will get the cash from PLAYER SALES. It's giving an impression that big money will be coming in from the sale of players (eg, Cesc as he's the only player we have that will command a high fee).

Seriously, Hillwood, cut the crap already u senile old man.

The arseblog article comforting as it may be, is also just nothing more than a interpretation of the situation from someone not in the knowing. It's been posted elsewhere. There's nothing to be postive or negative about it.

Cesc still hasn't denied anything. Wether he stays or goes, he said it himself. And as I mentioned above, our jackass of a chairman comes out with a stupidly pretentious statement in shaky times for the club regarding our captain.

I'm a staunch supporter of all club chairmans staying quiet when it comes to the squad. Let the managers handle player issues. Chairmans should just be vocal about club administration.

Perez at RM with his pipe dreams, Laporta seemingly knows and talks more than Pep, and our own Hill-wood spitting shit which to me Wenger isn't all too pleased.

After watching Gourcuff being an absolute monster for france in the friendly against Costa Rica, it's better than sex if he joins us. Oh please Arsene, do something, you were watching the game too!

It's not wrong to dream sometimes, eh

WOW, Xavi really is an annoying c*nt isn't he. Well Xavi, I hope you break a leg at South Africa. Well, make that 2. And since the Spanish national squad is full of Barca cunts, I hope you don't make it pass the group stages as well.

It's a pipe dream that Barca can even AFFORD Cesc at whatever price it is.

Don't forget they still owe us a silly sum for HLEB and Henry after what? 3 - 4 years?

I doubt we'll even see that sum of money EVER again.

If france flops, its definitely madman domenech's fault. Basically no change (only Malouda) to the team that played shite football in their opening match.

Hope the fool gets hanged if france is KO-ed this time.

WC issues aside, who's getting worried about Arsenal like me. It's frustrating really. I mean season's coming up, pre season warm up starts in about 2 weeks against Barnet. And basically Wenger is still blowing smoke.

We've signed Chamakh for a free, and basically Sol and Gallas is gone. Word is Koscielny deal is done, but what the fck was Wenger talking about when he said he's gonna sign before the WC so prices don't get inflated? I mean it doesn't make sense, since he's not signing any players from the WC anyway.

I just fail to see how we are stronger than last season. GK issue still there, defensive wise, ughhh. Cesc rumors are still rife. Are we gonna use the "youth thing-a-magic" that our upcoming youngsters will power us, to the point where we fall flat on our face again.

I just don't want to see Arsenal lose the clout it has among its worldwide fans. These days, even the spuds and citeh gets the media more excited than arsenal. sad.gif

If dreaming is the current mood, I'd kill to have Schweinsteiger. Such a team player, good at holding the ball, running back to defend, has good individual skills as well as killer passes.

Germany was to me the team of WC2010.Purely IMO of coz. Sure Spain are champions, albeit the least exciting ones I've ever seen.
