yup.. JD is not consistent. we need consistent defender.
koscielny is new to BPL from lorient.
some will say he might be like vermalaen. but vermalaen is different in many ways. he played for ajax, bigger club than lorient i think. he was the ajax captain. experience enough to handle pressure. last season, he was with experience gallas in defence department..
so IMHO, koscielny is not our solution for defence department.
we need another guy with experience.

BTW , Mertesacker is like a god send to Arsenal . If he joined , then Arsenal could be one of the best defense in Premier League .
