You mean your Samsung TV set break down before 5 years?
For me, 6 years warranty already enough to justify my purchase. If the TV breaks down after 6 years, I will purchase a new TV. Nowadays, TV technologies grow too fast, from HD ready, Full HD, 3D……
During my survey on LCD, Sharp is my priority candidate. At the end, select Samsung due to picture quality (personal preference).
Different people got different consideration….price, picture quality, sound quality, reliability,……..which one is your first consideration factor, then go to compare and survey. At the end, only you enjoy your TV set, not others.
yes, although u had the warranty but duno they need to take how many days to repair it that is the problem...
although that happen to my family's previous CRT and the latest CRT ~3 yr old... our 1st Samsung CRT spoiled just almost 5 yrs and my dad spend about RM300 to repair it in Ipoh by our own technician, and he bought this new set... the latest got 1 patch of color faded at the top left corner although it is not visible if you do not see it closely and carefully... FYI we use the TV from morning about 9 am till about 12 am, it has periodically rest also in between the hours but sadly it couldn't stand it...
a few of my frens also facing the similar problem not only with their TV but Washing machines and other stuffs

sad to say those house hold products if from another brand it will easily get over 5 yrs of hard abuse...
I bought sharp coz of the 1 yr all risk warranty they give and 2nd year normal warranty, then the price is not bad RM2k... the specs and also others stuff is not that bad also as i bought over some DVD (TVB movie) to test with their component input... i don even want to test HDMI... until i reach home i test with my normal (yellow in color) input from my DVD as i don have extra component cable also haha it looks acceptable also
yes buying this kinda stuff is more towards personal preference lo hard to say which is good... each ppl has different taste and also preference

cheers..
