The retina display does get a bit degraded by that effect.

For those who are using Powersupport HD antiglare for iPhone 4, do you guys get like 'oily-crystalline-metallic effect'(sorry don't know how to describe) when viewing at bright colour screen? It appears evenly throughout the screen, and I did wipe the screen with microfibre cloth before installing, so I don't think it's due to oil.
