QUOTE(jiro1986 @ Aug 7 2010, 12:00 PM) I'm in Australia. With the case on the signal drops by about 1 bar when I pick the phone up. Without the case it would completely lose the signal. In general, the signal strength is a lot poorer than my 3GS, both on 4.0.1. I'll be getting the phone swapped at the Apple store in a few days just in case I may have a defective phone. |

^ exactly what he said.
However, for some reason I can only manage 2-3 bars in my room which is quite an issue. My 3GS on the other hand gets 5 bars consistently. Was at the Perth Apple store last night and even there the phone only showed 1-2 bars. Genius agreed that it didn't look right so I'll be getting it swapped shortly. |

From experience, Bodyguardz has quite poor cutting. I tried applying it on my 3GS in the past, ended up buying 2 packs (4 films) and the corners never stuck properly. The sides also weren't long enough to cover the chrome bezel. It also stretches and deforms quite easily which makes it a pain to apply correctly.
I haven't seen an iPhone 4 with it yet but it may or may not be easier to apply... I have my doubts on how the film will wrap over the 'double edge' of the antenna frame. It seems that the glass on the iPhone 4 resists scratches quite well, and the only part of the phone that picks scratches up is the black 'plastic' on the sides of the glass. |

I've had the Switcheasy Nude Ultraclear on mine for about 2 weeks now. Just a couple of observations:
1) It scratches VERY easily, and looks horrible once scratched. Mine had 2 large scratches on the back fresh out of the box. 2) There's a strange rainbow coloured ripple effect on the case when viewed in the light. Apparently the 3GS Nude has the same issue, so maybe it's the plastic they use. 3) It attracts a LOT of dirt and dust down the sides, and looks horrible. You have to remove the case to clean it, which is a pain in the butt because you have to 'stretch' the plastic over the power button and it's not something you want to do repeatedly. |

On the iPhone 4? Another clear hard shell case sold by an Australian company under the brand name "Extreme". It covers the earpiece and home button, but is quite bulky due to the thickness. Because it overlaps the front, dirt doesn't get trapped as easily.
