I ordered my case 2 months ago.. have 1 more month to go, until they ship it.. this is the biggest issue with the case, and probably the only problem.. but the current waiting period for new customers are 6-10 weeks..


but anyway, i bought a cheapo case for 30rm to hold the phone till mine gets back..

i posted some customer examples.. for you guys to get an idea.. its a bit pricey as well.. 79-89 usd.. but well worth it..

hey mate, when did you order your grove case? I ordered mine in mid-August, and I think it should be here by mid-November or later next month..

the waiting time is really crap for Grove.. but I hope it's worth the wait & the price..

p.s. did you get yours custom'ed as well?

Just got my proof, for my custom case from Grove. I think it will be shipped in the next two weeks hopefully...

119 USD$, including postage.. bit pricey, but the best looking case I had found..

and the waiting time does suck.. I ordered it 3 weeks before I got my phone.. (lead time for delivery is 6-10 weeks from payment)..

they do have the copyright law in place, atleast they practice it.. I tried putting a jordan sneaker on the bottom sleave,... but the copyright infringement prevents that..

either way, this makes it more personal, eh? good luck waiting for the case mate.. thats the hardest part..

This must be the best SP I have seen for the Iphone4 by far.. Where did you get it from? Any trouble installing it? That's where I run into trouble with almost all SP's...

The free apple case / bumper program ended a few weeks back.. You cant get it for free, but you can still buy the bumper from the Apple online store or from any other retailer or LYN member.

Hulloo people, just got my grove case yesterday & this is my review..

Pros:
* It is absolutely beautiful, the compliments I get from people.. woohoo.. Also, I feel just as happy about this (maybe moreso) than the phone itself
* Very unique (in design, looks & feel) especially If you opt for a custom design..
* All the necessary cutouts/ slots are perfect (headphone jack/ charger slot/ camera slot) I took pictures with and without flash & had no problems whatsoever
* Does not affect/degrade the antenna by loss of network coverage/signal strength at all (got 5 bars before, still get 5 bars now)
* Smells great (dont think that will last though) but this is a case (being bamboo) that will wear well over time (with scratches and bumps that can add authencity to it.. sort of like an antique..
* The case is a great fit, not loose at all and very snug.. Not heavy at all and makes me feel much safer about holding it,.. It was very slim (the naked iphone) and there was always the fear that the phone may slip and fall .. not anymore
* Great customer service (really) I have yet to meet any apple 3rd party vendor /supplier that is as dedicated to making customers happy and welcomed at grove.. this is something everyone can learn from them.. very prompt replies for emails or most other feedback..
* If you do break the case, they offer you 50% off on another purchase (good, eh? I thought so)..
* It really is a very beautiful case ( I looked around everywhere before I ordered mine and didnt find anything else on the same level of authenticity)..
* Environmentally friendly (being bamboo) if you're into that or a hippy or a good samaritan..etc...


Cons:
* A bit pricey for a case ( I got mine at 120 $US, including shipping, custom design as well as the custom proof, since I am absolutely rubbish with photoshop).. but you need to consider this, you pay for what you get and you wont be dissapointed
* The waiting time for a custom design is still 8-10 weeks (being handmade by a new startup).. But I feel great now, once I have got the case.. for anyone looking to buy the iphone 4, make sure you order this case, BEFORE you buy your phone, so as to save time..

Thats about it.. I couldn't possibly be happier with the purchase..

The black lining part is actually silver and metal.. Mine is silver, anyway.. Although you can opt for a black finish as well.. Silver stands out more (in my opinion, since the phone is black as well).. Black would work though, if you wanted it to appear as part of the phone..

Mine took 10 weeks to get here, from the date of payment.. But I think the latter orders should be much quicker.. They've got most of the previous orders finished now.. You should email them and ask about your case, they give a reply within a day..
