QUOTE(beavis68 @ Aug 28 2010, 12:24 PM) u mean the protector come with the sgp carbon fibre? answer is no. i'm using powersupport for front and back QUOTE(stringfellow @ Aug 28 2010, 12:50 PM) Both mine and Beavis's iPhones have PowerSupport Clear on the back. We kept it there and stick the Carbon Fibre back on top of the PowerSupport Clear SP, just in case that if the Carbon Fibre leaves sticky residue if stuck at the back, the SP will protect against it. I have more confidence in PowerSupport than SGP when it comes to not leaving a messy residue behind when you remove them. from ur posts, i gather that u guys use PowerSupport SP bcoz of messy residue from SGP Carbon right? So you can say that our iPhones are double-layer protected, but because the Vapor case just hugs the side of the iPhone, this double-layering does not interfere with the Vapor case when installing/tightening the screws. In fact, because of the double-layering, the back surface now looks like it flush against the Vapor case, like it is part of the case itself. I've never said this before, but of all the cases I have bought(trust me, I have lots, from silicone, hard TPUs, cheap/expensive plastic, etc), nothing compares with the Vapor. The iPhone 4 with the Vapor case gives this feeling of heft and solidness when you hold it in your hands. And since both of us uses the PowerSupport AntiGlare SP for front and Carbon Fibre for the back, we dont ever need to wipe our iPhones down for fingerprints anymore. The back is covered with smooth texture by the Carbon Fibre, and the front is anti-fingerprint and antiglare. Perfect! so, if im interested with SGP Ultra Slider, i believe i wont encounter any messy residue issue. so, is it okay for me to use the Steinheil Ultra Crystal SP that come with SGP Ultra Slider? or is it recommended that i also use PowerSupport SP as 2nd layer of protection? |

QUOTE(beavis68 @ Aug 28 2010, 08:37 PM) The back layer u can use any ciplak protector if you going to get the carbon fibre sticker. Coz the sticker will sit on the protector and u can't see the protector at all. i see...other than that, there's no issue right? i guess i can just use the bundled SGP's screen protector for the front side. no need to buy another SP... |

QUOTE(stringfellow @ Aug 28 2010, 09:07 PM) Beavis is right. You can opt for either using the Ultra Clear SP that cones with the Carbon Fiber pack or get an AntiGlare alternative. If you still prefer Ultra Clear, I recommend either the PowerSupport AntiGlare HD pack, that one comes with both Ultra Clear AND Antiglare HD SPs, or the Ultra Oleophobic SGP SP. The guys at MacStudio has that Ultra Oleophobic SP and it's the Ultra Clear type SP, and leaves very very minimal finger oil. ok, now i get it. for me, the issue is with the front side, which SP to use. because i'll be using SGP Ultra Slider at the back, yeah, not the carbon fibre So in short, I recommend these two combination:- 1- Front = AntiGlare = PowerSupport AntiGlare HD, Back = Carbon Fiber = SGP Carbon Fiber Cube 2 - Front = Ultra Clear = Either the Ultra Clear PowerSupport SP that comes with the Antiglare HD pack, or for the most minimal finger oil while maintaining the clear look, get the SGP Ultra Oleophobic. Back = Carbon Fiber = SGP Carbon Fiber. I prefer option 1 since I don't even have to wipe down my iPhone 4 anymore, the PowerSupport AntiGlare HD is fingerprint resistive. The Carbon Fuber back of course doesn't show fingerprint at all. Option 2 if you really must have the Ultra Clear look, with option for the best Ultra Clear SP in my opinion, the SGP Ultra Oleophobic. Good luck! » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « now i realize that the SP that come together with SGP Ultra Slider is not really anti fingerprint, its more like crystal clear... so, i guess i have to buy PS antiglare HD for the front. if im to buy the vapor case, then maybe i'd consider carbon fibre at the back... but not enuff bullets right now.. haha |

QUOTE(stringfellow @ Aug 28 2010, 09:30 PM) Careful with that kind of case. I used the IvySkin Reception case and Switcheasy Nude for the iPhone 4 before, and because I use the Ultra Clear SP at the back, this creates a smooth surface against that clear back of those cases and the back then exhibits the "oily watermark" syndrome. Google "Otterbox watermark" and you'll see what I mean. I had a helluva tine trying to clear that of. Two solutions for clearing that is by using baby powder or using antiglare SP for the back, but I don't recall any antiglare SP available for the back, only the front. Had to literally powder the back to remove that watermarking. The price I had to pay for clear cases. okay, if i use PS anti glare SP and the carbon fiber, wut shud i use for the side? That is no longer the case now with that Carbon Fiber back. not vapor pls, its too expensive... haha... wut abt the spectra wrap from theluckylabs? IINM, got 50% discount for their products rite now... |

Also, is it as fingerprint resistant as they claim it to be? i think stringfellow's statement already prove it. |
