Nope. In his first video review of another Viva flip case, the reviewer said the company told him that the chrome bezel was intentionally left exposed due2 users' preferences! Probably seeing the chrome shining thru the gap gives a sp look to the whole unit?

Agreed re above. Kinda gets in the way even when one watches videos, too. The designers could hv made the front pc "removable" eg attached via some kind of "press studs"?

However, on the aeshetic side, that would make the cover less streamlined! Yup, final designs are always a compromise wan...hehe....

the screen protector comes with bodyguardz issit anti-glare type?

epikcase is great budget case. i got one from another forumer but did not turn out well..got another one from another forumer and that was ok.

i dont really know what is the problem...however, amongst the vulcans, the cheap silicon 10 bucks condom like, and the epik case, i prefer the griffin slider like case. hardshell outside, softer rubber inside. protects the phone from almost anything.


its somewhat similar to the slider and i got it for only rm 59 bucks if i remember correctly from alvincool

for bodyguardz, is not a Anti-Finger Print type of screen protector. If u looking for good Anti-Finger SP, u can consider powersupport or switcheasy.

Added on May 27, 2010, 1:15 amYa, something is really hard to explain, is depend on luck oso. Some of my buyer bought the SE Vulcan, ultra clear, turned yellowish easily, whereby some of them no problem at all.

Griffin slider like case like elan form, is perfectly fit ur iphone, giving u good protection as what u said, but if ur iphone got applied bodyguardz or other type of bodyguard type SP, it will become very very tight till not fit nicely anymore. So have to beware.

I've personally tried it on and it's really very gaming controller like..sort of like PS3 controller but without the long legs at the bottom...lol
the legs are on the back of the phone thus making it lifted at least 1cm from the surface u place your device on.

yea dude. the problematic one was from your batch. I bought the same case from another person and it fits perfectly. screen protector did not peel off n caused bubbles.

And i found out that the one u exchanged to me was not epik case. Since i saw the whole epik case range and the one post exchange was not in there. probably some other brand.


Anyway, i guess u should check with ur supplier since im curious how come another batch seems to be fine and yours seems to peel of my SP.

Hi, i've seen some iphone cases price at about RM20++ to 40 in sg wang... why is it so cheap compare to cases in places like machines or epic.. is it different in terms of quality? will it somehow damage my iphone?

its status lah! if you notice, even the slim slim type of case that dont cover chrome bezel is > 100 ringgits in those store.

I've seen alot of almost same design but different manufacturer and they all cost higher. These are companies that spend money researching, improving, marketing, etc etc which incurs cost. The ones u see in lowyat are mere copycat that dont involve the stages above. Therefore its cheaper and its produce in mass quantity because of lower cost of manufacturer in bulk. Therefor the price is very much cheaper.


On another note, apple has been synonymously assigned to the category of above average status. Designers, rich boys etc own apple products and Apple wants to capitalize it. If u see, without plans from maxis or digi, normal people wont/cant afford the iphones. Because Digi/Maxis has brought it in and packaged it competitively, many people like yourself are asking this question " why are apple related accessories expensive"

It really depends on how you look at it. Since you are spending so much money on buying iphone I think you should be able to spend just another RM100++ on getting a better quality skin. This is not to show reputation but You pay wat you get. I have got some skins sample from china and they are less than RM 10 and the quality is too low until I will not reveal it. I also have got skins which cost about RM100 and it is nice and also you have confident with them.
