Hi guys, just a quick question to all iPhone users out there who are using Screen protectors.

There are so many types of screen protectors out there.

What model / type of screen protectors are you using ?

or who is bold to use the phone without any screen protectors at all.

I have a friend who has been using the iPhone for a long time ( iPhone 2G ) without any screen protector at all and so far does not have any scratches on his iPhone screen. So my question is , who here uses what type of screen protectors and who is daring enough to not use any screen protectors at all?

bought and got those Machine guys in Sunway Pyramid to apply Powersupport SP for me. I got the Anti Glare version for the front and clear for the back. It came in a pack all for RM 118. they did a fantastic job with the application.

Totally amazed by the quality of the SP really. Ive never used SGP before but this has to be by far one the best SP's out in the market. Never gonna use any other SP anymore apart from PS. Very minimal loss of quality in the Retina Display and that for an Anti Glare SP?..amazing

I know some of you guys prefer not to use SP and most of us do (like me) It all end in the end boils down to one's preference. yes the glass is strong but call me paranoid I couldnt live with myself if i scratched the screen by mistake. laugh.gif

long time ago..some apple staff asked me to try and scratch their 3GS phone which is their demo. so i took out a key and scratch on it.. the iphone is not mine so please bear in mind i used pressure...when i did this experiment..

guess what... not even a single scratch..amazing..and that was 3gs..

im sure u guys wont mix keys and coins wherever u keep ur phone,so i don see a need for screen protector. and if u notice since 3gs..the screen does not leave any finger prints.

just my 2 cents

Not bad, but the camera hole for the flash is too narrow, like the first few shipments of Grove iPhone 4 cases. The narrow opening affects the colours of the pictures when flash is used. Also, it doesn't have the metal bezel, but the choice of wood is excellent~!!!

Ordered my Grove though. Would only arrive in November...sigh...

Yeah, well, some people tend to hate oil smudge (fingers and face are oily) and there is a possibility for people to just dump the phone in the handbags (my girlfriend does this) or tight jeans that may scratch the screen.

hey mate, when did you order your grove case? I ordered mine in mid-August, and I think it should be here by mid-November or later next month..

the waiting time is really crap for Grove.. but I hope it's worth the wait & the price..

p.s. did you get yours custom'ed as well?

No time to get it customized. No idea what to put. Actually, too many ideas to put, and don't know which suits the back cover best. Also Grove would need at least another 2 weeks as well for orders to arrive. I ordered just this morning.

Waiting time is crap but I do know Ken Tomita's design. He put incredible effort as an artisan on his own products. He should be doing the same for Grove as well. I bought the one with their Tree logo. Looks good - not too elaborate, and not too empty. Too bad they removed their emblem from the bottom piece to the sides. I'm so tempted to get the Sumi (blackwood) for my old 3G as well...

i myself had a 2G for 3 years and I didn't apply any SP at all..not even a scratch on the screen! However, the smudges and oil stains are kinda tough to remove and compared to the IP4 I have with the SGP SP anti oleoeoeoeoe(anti oil laugh.gif ), it's much easier to remove the oil and smudges

Have myself an iphone 4 + Vapor Black + PS Anti Glare. Loving the combination but Vapor is a conversation piece and a glorified bumper. Would I recommend someone to buy it? Depends on what you want to achieve but its definitely attention grabbing.
