recently I try to find Beryl chocolate.. I find it very hard to get.. nothing at all in KLIA, very very limited choice in supermarket.. why huh?

For your information, Beryl's Chocolate can be found in KLIA at Eraman outlets but there is only certain product that they sell. You also can find Beryl's Chocolate at any Jusco or Giant.

Yes, the buffet is open to public. There is no reservation needed.

Yups, Beryl's Chocolate mostly going export more than local market.

I ask the shop assistant in few KLIA duty free shop..... they even have big poster of Beryl's Chocolate...

they told me no stock for Beryl's Chocolate..

I saw some packing very nice oversea... it is like a gift wrap with ribbon on it... look like a very nice gift.. sadly I can't get it in KLIA.. I don't think can find in Jusco too..

I went before the KLIA Sepang. on the 5th Floor (Departure Floor) Center got a small Eraman stall selling chocolate. I also manage to find some of the Beryl's Chocolate such as Beryl's Fruits Fiesta. Do you mind to tell me, what chocolate you are finding?

Haha, Good question. I also asked the person incharge of the buffet event. They said should be enough chocolate for the buffet.

I don't think that this any special events. There is a new mini outlets. I not sure there is factory sales price or normal price on the buffet day. I will keep updated when i get the info.

i suggest the same~ have an event, maybe a special takeaway chocolate (can be any size, it's just for the fun of it) as people always look towards a goal in order to get their back-end up and going~

Currently dun have any other T&Cs. If unexpected case occur, we will add-on the T&C.
We try to supply as many as possible.
Yes, You may eat as much as possible. (Beware of diabeties)
Good question.. Parking lot in the factory are reserved to our staff members. You may park outside of the factory. Park at your own risk.

Wah, free chocolate!!!!!!!! Very interesting...but I am on diet today...Last week already up 1kg...Waaaaaaaaa

went there today... given 8 pcs of chocolate after long long queue... i had thought there'll b full range of chocolate to choose from...end up only 8 type of not very special chocolates... i dun feel it like a "buffet" at all

so for those who went today
was it worth the petrol and long queue for that free stuff?

First of all, we would like to said sorry to you. Do you mind to tell me what time you reach there? As early in the morning, There are various of chocolate, but they are limited of quality. We didn't expected too many people are coming on the 1st day.

If reach early session, it will be worth.

Limited quality all right. And you should provide indication that the chocolates will not be replenished once they were exhausted by the earlier batch.

I don't think this consider buffet, this is sort like chocolate testing session only...

yeah...i reach ard 3pm++...full of ppl...sorry to say, really dun feel like a "buffet", more like a pitiful lots of ppl waiting in line for a few pcs of free chocolate...i tot i was going to try some special flavour chocolate, then decide which to buy...but end up quite disappointed, especially when the chocolate texture was slightly soft (maybe bcoz it's a bit hot there)

anyway, nice try for today....wish u all better for the nxt 2 days... i still love Beryl's chocolate

i was extremely excited to hear about free buffet sessions.
all my frens are going after work 12pm today.
added some extravaganza highly recommended words to say how nice it would be..
i think this is gonna freak my frens out...

At first I tot we can take as much as we want since it stated buffet, but when you reach there, u will c a very long queue, jz to get to 2 tables with 4/5 staffs distributing few pieces of chocolates =.="...

I'm not going blame them as like bapypao's said that they didn't expect many people to come.

Anyway,me and my friends go there today at around 10am and taste some of the chocolate and it was fantastic.

It was, rather disappointing. =/

I would expect more variety of chocolates to be given out but sadly i saw around 10 types, 8 are with nuts and the rest are without. I didnt really see much of other flavours when i went around 1PM, most of them are nutty ones, mint and peanut butter but when i went into the shop, there were more inside than the ones outside x30 =.=

Ever considered if those people who love chocolates cant takes nuts? A bit more on the no-nut chocolates would be nicer.

Even the staff are not well prepared because she didn't know what flavour was 1 of the chocolate i asked because it was without a place card.

Albeit the chocolate was delicious, i guess the cons were more than the pros. If there was sessions for different chocolate, I think it should be stated earlier than going there full of expectations but coming back disappointed.

Probably is because this thread made me lower my expectation by a lot but it's technically a chocolate buffet although it's pretty "low class"

I was there at 3pm today and there are more then 10 types of chocolate which is constantly replenished. If you wait longer, you'll probably see different type of chocolates too.

It's all free. You CAN take as many as you want and there are more then enough to go around.

Yes it is crowded and you have to queue.

But the queue move relatively fast and I did not spend any longer then 2-3 minutes to get the chocolates.

As for the taste of the chocolates? It's pretty good, although they lose points in class, but they make it up for being free.

also just remembered, the whole place was built poorly. there was some stairs or something that were low as hell. rubbed the top of my head while walking through it, stupid structures!

i thought the mint chocolate was the best of what i got to try.

It still worked didn't it? despite the fact that so many people were disappointed, so many people suffered in the queue for so little, in the end they still made money. You complain and complain and complain, and still you buy what they make. Which is what I don't get. To me, if they pissed me off that much I wouldn't buy anything. Why would anyone buy anything from people they are disappointed and angered and frustrated by?

This is what I don't understand.

was that directed at me? because to me, service is not equivalent to what is being sold. if i'm being bothered by an annoying salesmen, i'd still buy whatever i was there for anyway.

ya, kinda weird with that kind of statement too.

btw i went there on saturday around 4pm+ and guard there already chasing ppl home, would not allow us to enter and said we can come back the next day.

so today, i went there around 9am+ and managed to get in and not crowded as bad as yesterday. maybe it is still early. chocolate for breakfast!

btw here is few thing i noticed.

1) no refil, topup watsoever, like they said. i saw few ppl kinda frustated not being allowed to topup.
2) there is one chinese guy wearing white t-shirt, some sorf of boss or manager which being really annoying and rude to the customers there. he
i) scold those who put things on the piano (piano i think) quite loud and pointing to the 'Do not put anything' sigh few times. sigh
ii) remind the guard there to give only one cup (sort of cup) per one customer only. he reminds the guard there few times.keep going back and front just to remind that guard. lol.
iii) and i dont like him because he keep on checking what customers did, like remind them here and there. lol. very lousy. not very customer friendly.
3) for those who came today, u r lucky since it is not SUPER CROWDED like yesterday, i peek inside and can c it is FULL with ppl being detained inside that building in order to eat up all the chocolates. with no sitting bench at all, all of the customers stand up try to finish the chocolates with shoulder to shoulder touch cause the floor is so small with those stupid stairs and big piano there.

Well I guess your luck is just bad.
Me and my friends went in there with box to collect all the chocolates.
Repeatedly(about 4-5 times).

Malays are more in popularity in Bangi.
So it wasn't that "weird" that there were a lot of Malays during the event.

Hope that clarifies stuff.

The event wasn't really a "phailed" event as the turnout was crazy.
It wasnt really planned properly only, imo.

I don't think that this is a failed event.They all tried soo hard but couldn't cope with the sudden crowd.After all,the chocolate is free...

All I want to say is that they need to prepare for this kind of thing to happen in the future.

If the event was at Seri kembangan factory, I'm sure a lot of Chinese
and Indian if they did it at Brickfield

Back to the business, we should however give them (beryl's) at least a credit for organizing such event.
Might be their first time and didn't expect such responses.
At least they gave out FREE choc to you
For those who said it was a failure, might be a good idea to write comments and send it to the organizer so they can perform
well in the future...and give us MORE CHOCOLATE!

Hi, Beryl's are sorry for it. FYI, we do allow top up but visitor need to go another round (to avoid congestion and better crowd control). There are many visitors top up and refill numerous times.
We are sorry for the checking becuase we spotted some visiotrs actually take away chocolates in large quantity. we do "allow" visitors to take the chcolates back like a handfful of choclates but there are some took two big plastic bag and even with boxes.
Once again, Beryl's would like to apologize for any misunderstanding and we will try better next time. Thank you very much for your comment and support.
