Was at Sunway yesterday trying to look for HTC Wildfire ... trying to get the feel n touch of it but unfortunately no stock (due to too many demand - they r selling like hotcakes ) ... anyway the sales personnel then recommend me an acer E400 at the same price RM 1,199.00 (only one year warranty, ) and told me it's better than wildfire.

- faster processor (600 ... i think)
- better resolution (320 x 480 ... i think)

but (search from net)
- screen color (256K color)
- 3G (download speed slower ... i think)

anyway anyone encounter this phone before ? (or maybe can guide me to the right topic in this forum, thanks.)

i notice some O/S - android 2.1 (Enclair) but some did not put the word Enclair there. what is the different between with Enclair and w/o ?

same here ... still thinking about it ... anyway seems like so many guys over here had purchased it, i think it should be GOOD a phone.

i don't think it worth it for me using maxis plan (digi user here) ... anyway if i decide to buy htc wildfire, then most probably off the shelf ... but now i'm still pondering between htc wildfire n acer e400 (because of the resolution).

if i'm not mistaken it's RM 1,199.00 / RM 1,099.00 but one year warranty.

Currently does HTC Wildfire have any GPS software ? like papagos n etc ...

Yup ... just got call that the distributor brought RED and WHITE ones.
