(:Added on September 18, 2010, 9:04 pm No, I mean did you messed up the setting of your phone? Because by default setting, it will work perfectly. I see. How's it camera? 12 MP on mobile phone. Just wondering, to install apps not from the Market you have to have another installer available? I'm an iPhone/iPod user looking to trudge and explore new territories (; |

QUOTE(whitegoh @ Sep 20 2010, 05:19 PM) I really like SMSing from the homescreen. Instead of opening Handcent. Very madam to open an app just to SMS. Besides, we're using smartphones. And I dont see what is so nice about it other than the looks. (: |

QUOTE(RisK.yO @ Sep 20 2010, 06:37 PM) If on native messaging app, press and hold anywhere on the main screen, select Widget and choose Messages. If on Handcent do the same thing but choose the Handcent widget (medium). Then on the widget tap the icon at the right of your text and choose New message |

QUOTE(whitegoh @ Sep 20 2010, 09:27 PM) but if u rooted, gain more access of yr phone. My phone's about 2 days old only, haha. Still not much of junk dumped into it yet compared to my 3Gs. But that's an iPhone, cannot compare. Haha.example, the system will only kill those apps which is not running after the phone memory drop to 20MB with autokiller(rooted required to make change), u can set maybe 40 or 60. or make the system go aggresive, if u got take yr time read those articles, u will understand. however the phone will kill those apps when memory run low. Added on September 20, 2010, 9:28 pm thats a lot u got there i restart liao only got around 100 only.. but i run a lots of stuff Added on September 20, 2010, 9:33 pmjust personal opinion. if really want to kill task, kill those apps which don't run all the time. like message, people, clock, mail, facebook for HTCsense and a lot more are constantly running all the time, so exclude those. Maybe u can kill the games, internet, or those apps which open by yourself which won't run in normal circumstances. My suggestion is to leave it unless you're a hardcore user. |

You said it well. This ain't a Walkman phone or an iPod. Besides even the ipod's speakers sound as mediocre.Besides, this is an android smartphone, not a walkman phone XD |

QUOTE(bad_heroes86 @ Sep 26 2010, 10:25 AM) i've tried all the APN setting posted by forumers for my WF but still cant send and receive mms...im using celcom UOX(no data plan)...can anyone help me please.. Try referring to the menu? For Maxis it is *100#, not sure what is it for Celcom. It should be loaded into your phone by your SIM card, btw. Mine was preloaded when I installed my SIM. Also unrelated to that, do you all have any problems with trying to switch from silent to normal and silent again? My phone has a problem, whenever I put it to silent and change back to normal again, I won't hear any sound, as if it is still in silent mode. Entering settings is useless, as when I try to set ringer volume, it crashes in the Settings app, lol. Anybody facing the same problem? |

Btw guys, I tried installing Swype, didn't work, uninstalled, and now I've got a weird keyboard. It makes noises when there shouldn't be, and it gives haptic too, LOL. Don't know where it popped out of. |
