QUOTE(rEDs @ Jul 11 2010, 10:29 PM) hi, is this phone able to be as modem to connect to laptop via cable? trying to explore into android phone soon. Of course can..please enlighten me. U can find EasyTether at Android Market to enable sharing the connectivity... I tried it before with my Tattoo.. But, rarely used it because I'm scared with the Battery durability if long term use... |

QUOTE(edwinlcw @ Jul 13 2010, 10:54 AM) i think it will run smoother than 2.1 as we can see from the benchmark on N1, froyo actually runs faster if compare with 2.1... Yea, for this i know. I think 2.1 is slightly lag cause saw some review on samsung spica, actually run 1.5, after upgrade to 2.1 then lag on some application. So mean upgrade firmware not related with processor? |

Well, did some research on the web just now and here are some findings:-
Pros: 1. Price is CHEAP !! (yup, this is one hell of an attraction to people out there) 2. Can be upgraded to Froyo (i think its already confirm) 3. The overall phone size is more "user friendly" (well, some say this depends on individual) 4. Larger ROM (not so sure bout this) Cons: 1. Lousy screen resolution. (well, some say this also depends on individual) 2. Slower processor, 528MHz only. 3. Poor speaker/sound quality. 4. MIGHT not support certain android app due to the low resolution. (this one not so sure) 5. Camera quality not so good, although its 5MP (this one not sure) So anyone can verify or anything to add to the list ? |
