Steven Spielberg comes to mind, he loves 1.85:1 aspect ratio... with few exception of course. If you ask me which one I'd prefer, I'd say 2.35:1 ratio because I like to watch my movies on bd wif the subtitle on... so at least it won't interfere more with the image on screen for me I rather watch full screen, cause my TV is only 32", when set to Native signal, the black bars are thicker and bigger than the picture itself...
