good, i have insomnia....  haha...

i owned the first one on dvd & watched the 2nd one on astro. i think both not bad, storywise speaking.... but i'm more eager on how it'll look on hi-def especially most scenes are shot low-lit and looking forward how the transfer can take the nocturnal dark scenes etc etc.... 

Steven & Janusz always luv to have a stylised look - over-blooming, high contrast, bleached colours and gritty type of cinematography look but yet slick... so it'll look like that lor... though i read the transfer was superb.

Im new here. Just like to ask some questions regarding about BD. Is it cheaper to get the BD from Amazon uk then from shops in malaysia?

Lastly i noticed there are region which cannot play in malaysia. So does it means we only can buy BD for all region only or there is a way that we can see BD from other region.

I think UK should be cheaper compared to US. But some titles like Transformer UK version - the audio sucks compared to US version. That's why I always stick to US version blu-ray.

Yup, this one... but sure this one is the 'official' one ar? Why not release in US yet? I'm not too keen on "unofficial" titles like Blade or Se7en which were released few years back in Region A but not official. Plus this one got nipple ley...

The lower bitrate on the Minority Report on the UK version does not hinder the PQ from what I have been told. The bitrates on the US version are very very high, the comment that is floating around is that it is as though someone just turned up the bitrates and went to sleep.

Actually on Minority Report the audio from the EU/UK is actually higher bitrate than the US counterpart by almost 33%. Would it make a difference? I doubt it.

I've been monitoring at certain places and found that pirated BD's are now available everywhere. Does it makes an impact on genuine BD buyers , to turn around for pirated BD's instead ...as they are available for cheap rate.?

If this is the case, how could video shops like SV, EV gonna survive with the availability of pirated BD's ? I suppose , LYN forum members still believes on the genuine items despite this "disease".

Btw, not to mention where i've seen this been sold, i assume everyone must have guessed it by now ..where they are from..
