Slumdog Millionaire
PQ is stable throughout. Golden Hues and some colour timing corrections done by Danny Boyle. However, the details are pretty solid. Did not catch any artifacting or aliasing. AQ is a good test of sub qualities for tightness and bass accuracy in a film track. Soundtrack has LFE moments that will not test how low ur sub can go but how well it handles the soundtrack. Drum beats good and solid. Surrounds used very well and effective. All in in all a good PQ/AQ title.

Movie is pretty ok. Very good acting, from the kid actors to the main actors. No real melodrama, a simple love story and a rags to riches storyline. Danny Boyle stays clear of traditional Hindi movies except at the end. But Boyle tends to do that in his movies anyway. Sunshine comes to mind.

Yes it is, the co direction in India by Loveleen Tandan shows they can make quality films too. Btw, no doubt as anfieldude mentioned , the blu-ray PQ is awesome.
I watched it like 5-6 times. Never got bored.

Not seen this thought , but I still remember a French movie called YAMAKASI, it demonstrates the skills of the Yamakasi, a group of traceurs who battle against injustice in the Paris ghetto. They use parkour to steal from the rich in order to pay off medical bills for a person injured copying their techniques.

I wish this has in blu-ray

DESCRIPTION:
The film revolves around is a tribal forest guard who works for the welfare of his tribe and spreading education among them. VIDEO:
Yet another outstanding release from the Ayngaran stable. The blu-ray transfer is near-perfect with plenty of depth and detail. There is no evidence of DNR or edge enhancement. The black levels are pretty impressive. This is indeed quite a flawless release. Kudos to Ayngaran and Sunny.

AUDIO:
This disc boasts both the LPCM 5.1 uncompressed audio and DTS HD Master Audio. This disc features belly churning bass, makes very good use of the rear speakers and the HFs are not overly done. The dialogues are very crisp and clear.

BOTTOM LINE
This disc is not for everyone, decent flick, A+ disc. However, Jeyam Ravi fans will not be disappointed. This disc comes RECOMMENDED

I do find English titles discussed more here rather Bollywood, wonder how my little information could drive to to next version?

Anyway..i wanted to sincerely apologize to everyone for delaying the FAQ. I'm now the focal point for MS Exchange/Lotus Domino since my boss off sick for the next 3 months.

Just heard directly from Muzlim Kapasi at 'Excel Home Videos'. For those who may not be familiar with 'Excel Home Videos', they are the one's who released the really nice and very successful, 'Special Collector's Edition DVD' set of 'Lagaan', under license from Sony Films, with the blessings and participation of Aamir Khan. They are also, who Aamir Khan turned for help while mastering the DVD for his own 'Taare Zameen Par', even though T-Series were the actual home video distributors of 'Taare Zameen Par'.
