Hey members,
hope i can have some advise from you guys. i already paid deposit for a property. A bank has approve my loan, but i do not tend to get loan from them so its just a backup for me. Since i have this CCRIS issue,BN stil have not update their system( slow like snail and not efficient) as they mention to update the system on last sat and fail by today. Is it alright to apply loan to another bank which i prefer? Will they approve my loan without any hassle? Anyway, i need to get my lawyer to prepare the S&P asap, does my lawyer need to know which bank i apply loan from for the S&P drafting? Thanks. unsure.gif

no, your lawyer doesn't have to know the bank where you are gonna get the loan at the point of preparation and signing the s&p, but it is generally safer to get the loan offer before signing (in case you have no loan being approved)

Given that a bank has approve your loan, you have this as back up....so continue to apply while not rejecting this loan immediately

hi..do you mean that if i continue with the S&P preparation i will provide the bank which has approve my loan , and then i can tell them that i would change to another bank?

in fact, you don't have to provide them the bank which has approve your loan at the point of preparation...you just have to be sure for yourself

Hi, in order to get 90%loan from bank, what are the issues to consider? The PB said that the property doesnt cost 280k, only worth 240k and approve 220k. I told him there is some basic renovation and the house is facing playground. Can appeal for this casE?

try other banks...

banks are prudent and they do not want to take more risk, especially at this point of time, fearing of NPL
