Google Shutting Down Nexus One Online Store


What do you think of this move?

I like this part Instead, "it will use the old storefront as an online window "to showcase a variety of Android phones available globally."

it's kinda sad but who knows Google moves is to ensure the nexus one will have place at couriers' shelves...

google not really need to shut down the online store..they just can expand it to other carriers and countries like what apple do..

why shut it down? It's not an improvement. They should make it available worldwide and not to certain locations only.

honestly speaking, it's not surprising at all...

buying a phone is different from buying a, say, MP3 player...

most ppl, if not all, still prefer holding one and feel it, since u tend to hold it quite often everyday...

and yes, turning the Nexus One site into 1 that showcases all the Android phones available is a better move in the long run... it gives ppl who are interested wtih Android a more central place to look for one...

i agree on this move, but feel it's bit too late now with incredible and desire in place.

just order local ap set better, with 1 yr wrnty..claim also easier..
now 2180 only

or else...better for google to launch android concept store...so any acc. or service can be accessible there...

Close or no close no point if not available here locally.
