yes

just because he got some bad blood with van basten doesn't means he should be kicked out of the team

he is still one of the best goalscoring-happy striker ever played.compared to kuyt,i'd take Nistelrooy any day

Yea, after KJH current season, i do not think he deserves to be ahead of RVN..Maybe bert thinks he's too old?

Not big enough? How about robben or sneijder for that? Van persie?
Since u said no big names, i dun wanna start with van bommel and bronckhorst...........AND MORE
*
he is saying the defence.
true enough that is the weakest department for holland.

Seriously, vlaar, van der weil, bronckhorst and heitinga is the best we could come up with.. From wat we saw from the qualifyings.. I think they're not as bad as ppl might think they are.. But not great either..

Well, attack is the best form of defense, hope that works for us..

But with good defensive midfielders like van bommel, de jong...i think should be able to cover the defensive line.

Defense don't come from individuals....Unlike attacking that based heavily in individuals....Defense at most of the time is a system...It depends on the strategy.

the match is 6pm gmt..or rather 2am malaysian time if i'm not mistaken..
Sorry i'm in uk..LOL

As for kuyt and babel...Kuyt has to be in the team..But leaving RVN out and having huntelaar in it, after seeing huntelaar's season.. That is a bit unfair..

Added on May 27, 2010, 4:55 amNetherlands 2 - 1 Mexico
Robin Van Persie 17' 41'
Hernandez 74'

Our defence very shaky..Esp bouhlarouz & heitinga..

Maybe we still need Van bronckhorst back there..35 yo still playing for country, no joke there..Either he's too good or holland's defence too scarce in talent..But i think a defence consisting of VB, vlaar, ooijer and der wiel is good enough..unless the opponent is argentina/spain..=.=

The prob's with this team probably its defences. Their attacking parts shouldn't have any problems.Just can't wait to watch their actions in WC.

A perfect group stage from the orange army.. But i still dun think the dutch are 100%.. I like bert.. He instilled simple and economical passing into the team, looking for an opening and playing the deadly ball.. I think sneijder still not 100%, neither is robben.. Hope they really warm up against slovakia, coz if we go thru, we would definitely face much classier sides..

Good saves by stekelenburg. And an absolute cracker by robben, he nearly scored one exactly like that against cameroon.

with exception to the argentinian(which has 6 world-beating forward) and Spaniards(which has more key players up to the point Fab the lad is benched most of the time),the Dutch has the most complete players in all area

people like to see the history and quoting match as far back as 1970.the brazil today isn't the wonder brazil of 2002.

how was it unfair? Webb tried to neutralize everything to keep the match competitive, or else there could have been more red cards.

seriously, if the dutch win it will be such a injustice after their performance in this game, they could have easily end the match with 7-8 man. and only really Robben are playing well for the dutch

Too many diving, card waving & dirty play. Hate to see that in a WC final. Netherlands did ok...Spain does not have my respect as worthy winners. I really dislike Iniesta, Busquets, Capdevilla & Torres after watching them in the WC.

Yea..and Dutch fans seem to have forgotten that their team tried to play kung fu instead of football. Unsporting? How about trying to score when suppose to give the ball back or kicking it into the far end of the touchline. Iniesta may have dived but the likes of Van Bommel and De Jong should have been sent off.

anyway, ignore that robert guy ngo..he got some serious problems with knvb, god knows why..
De jong was trying to play the ball so yellow was fine i think.. But that tackle from behind by van bommel sure deserved a red..
elia was double-teamed + tripped * no foul * and the resulting counter attack led to a goal..
The ref wasn't biased, but he din have the best of games IMHO..
Do not take it away from spain guys.. Be worthy losers.. We'll be back no worries..

well..he actually plays good football.he wouldn't win the poty if he isn't any good right?i personally like david villa.i dont hate spain.i've singled out the players from spain that i particularly dislike.again i said, dont act like spain are saints.that's the example of blindness.

What the feck does Ronaldo has to do with a Netherlands thread?? And Ronaldo is no longer a United player anyways so who gives a crap??

Spain were poor winners, De Jong should have been sent off and so did Puyol. If only it was possible for both teams to lose and the World Cup be given to New Zealand

Aku xde attachment dgn mana2 team pn...Akutgk team yg ada player MU je. With the finals, aku pick the lesser of 2 evils. Van Bommel and Robben vs Busquets, Torres dgn Capdevilla....so aku mcm nk Holland mng la...tp the matter of the final mmg sgt disgusting laa...All the diving and cynical fouling. Aku plg surprised dgn Xavi...x bajet plak dia diving card waver jugak.

So in conclusion, dua2 patut kalah...kasi trophy kat New Zealand...bagi anak2 yatim ke..

anyway, ignore that robert guy ngo..he got some serious problems with knvb, god knows why..
*

there's no way he can get the ball with that kind of challenge ... in my opinion, anything above knee high studs up challenge deserves a red ... plus all the stuff that vbommel did, it's a miracle he's allowed to stay on the pitch past the first half ... had they got sent off, robben wouldn't get his chances ...

had the dutch played 'normal' football, i doubt the spanish team would have triple team tackled and dived ... just check the spain - germany match ...

i was disappointed with the kung fu tactics shown by the dutch team ... was hoping that it would be a good match ... thanks oranges for spoiling a world cup final ...

actually,i could say this, for once in my lifetime, i could'nt have agreed with you more.
But Xavi has always been the diver and trashtalker that he is.
