btw, was doing a read on playing the ABC player outside of US, string did u do that?
wonder is there any cheaper source of VPN, and whether our internet line is good enough to stream
*
I've been using VyprVPN for a few months and have been using lots of streaming stuff (ABC, Netflix, Hulu) on both my Mac and iPad. It works great during the evening hours, I get maybe 1-2 pauses of less than 10 seconds each on a 43 minute show.

I tried BolehVPN before and that worked pretty well too but that was pre-iPad days so I haven't tried it on the iPad.

None of them are cheap however.

If it's a brand new sealed box. I don't think you need to worry. And if it's sealed, open it and activate it on the spot with iTunes. But I think the seller won't let you open it unless you've actually paid.

I've done this with iPhones before in the old days. Pay up front, then I break the seal. If there are any problems I'll return the money and send the iPad for warranty since the warranty is under my name anyway. I'm happy to help activate etc. but no way will I open the seal before at least seeing the money. I don't want to take the risk of people changing their minds at the last minute, screwing me in the process.

But at the moment I don't think Apple Malaysia honor any iPad warranty since the iPad hasn't been launched yet. They don't have the tech/customer support for it.

I buy iPads using my own name and credit card in the US. I have warranty under my name. If I sell it to a buyer, he/she doesn't have any warranty and I don't promise anything. If the iPad is DOA then I can get warranty myself.

In short if I'm selling, I will take the responsibility if it's DOA. Once purchased, the buyer will take responsibility. I can help but postage to the US is not free (or you'll have to wait until I go to the US).
