Now that the season is TRULY over, in my opinion this poll is conducted at the RIGHT TIME. Not before the FA cup final or before the season is truly over where & when the title was really decided!


IMO Drogba deserves the title even though he missed a month away at Africa Cup. As usual African players are shortchanged (just like Etoo at la Liga) INHO.


So I'm conducting this poll only among us in this forum. I believe us Malaysians & other forum members are fair & can be impartial & can vote with honesty regardless of our club allegiance.

Similarly thru this poll (which is done in a honest fshion) I'm sounding out whether forum members here can can be mature without flaming each other over difference in opinions.

For example posts 2 & 3 by genuine footie fans (roti-terbakar & lok3i) opinions herein are articulated fairly.

IMO Flaming wars occur when numpties are bereft of opinions & resort to calling names then!

If this is so, then this thread should be rightly closed.

I'll vote for Rooney. He carried Manchester United all the way thru the season. Drogba didn't. Chelsea in fact rely on Kalou and Anelka to goals at the absent of Drogba. Manchester United? Berba? And IDK why you did this pole, maybe disagree what all the writers in England voted for. And TBH I don't really mind Drogba win Player of the Season for LYN Forum. So I voted for Rooney

Why only 2 options...??? Doesn't mean he score more goals then he deserved the player of the year. I was expecting some GK, MF and DF as well.... This poll is too general and naive IMO.

I think so la. Everytime I watched he played even for merely 10 minutes or so, I could see him doing something good on the right wing. I dare say everytime. Not that I always watch Bolton la But kinda enough to convince me that he has the talent.
