The first jersey (Arsenal Maroon) looks to me like it's fake, because of the sizing info near the collars:



It looks dodgy to me.

The second one looks authentic to me.

To find the old epl namesets is a bit hard nowadays... you can try looking at ebay.

To me.. again as what chcher said.... It's a grey area.

I won't categorize it as fake. Because there is no original product being sold..

Of course it is not the same thing as what was used by the players.. But again, the real thing is not sold publicly. Same like the Stand Up Speak Up patch...

I applaud the person who made it. DID, who made it? Great effort there..

Sometimes we have to think out of the box. Just like we DIY certain things, like altering the Man United 2000-2001 reversible centenary jersey.. altering it from 2 layers to 1 layer. To me, this is more like DIY (do it yourself) thingy.

Sometimes people take this hobby too seriously. Last time, when I shared some ideas on how to DIY apply the EPL nameset using a songkok casing cap, there was this person who slated me and made fun out of my idea. Of course it's not accurate.. but it's just an idea... Why too serious lah.

Take it easy.... enjoy the fun of DIY jerseys.. The thrills of DIY jersey.

Sometimes they do care.. When you want to sell that jersey.

If that jersey has fake NNs, then the value will drop badly. Again it's a big IF.

This is all up to personal choice. Same like buying fake jerseys. Just that we don't condole fake jerseys because I've seen what the fake market does (the consequences, the human trafficking and poor labour env, etc etc).. If there is an option to buy authentic namesets, I think most people will go for it first. Since the MDT are not sold publicly, it's a good alternative idea.

Sizing is based on shoe size.

S (small): 12-2 (shoe size kids 12 to adults 2)
M (medium): 2-7 (shoe size adults 2 to adults 7)
L (large): 7-11 (shoe size 7 adults to 11 adults)

So if you wear a shoe size 6 (adults), then you can buy the M size socks. I bought the S size and still I can wear it anyway.. but it becomes very stretchy later.. It's just a rough guide

Sorry, here we use the term JC for Jersey Collectors and JCs for Jersey Collectors since 2008.

There are 2 type of jerseys. One is called replica jerseys (the ones which are sold at stores) which are meant for public sales. They are made using CLIMACOOL technology.

The other one is called player issue jerseys, which are the ones actually worn by the players on the pitch. They were made using FORMOTION technology.

In 2010, adidas introduced another option for players to wear on the pitch, which is called TECHFIT. The technology is where there is a X web shaped elastic rubber band that wraps the body of the player. It is said to increase the player's strength (jumping, running etc etc) through the X web support.

If you notice, players nowadays like to wear undergarments that are skin tight. Reason is because in a way, it enhances the muscle and also wicks out sweat better compared to not wearing undergarments. Nike has Nike Pro. Adidas has Adidas Techfit.

So players now have options to wear either FORMOTION based jerseys or TECHFIT based jerseys. Hope this answers your question

Yes, box set jersey means what it says.. jersey inside a box set. It is a trend now where jerseys that come with commemorative box set. It is more pricey and made unique in a way (example, the jersey is player issue, the jersey is limited and has number (example, 1 of 1000)).

Very hard to find long sleeve version. And also to find XXXL size.

Best bet is to find XXL short sleeve version.

You can find XXL kits at al-ikhsan or adidas stores. They are much easier to find compared to XXXL.

XXXL is non existence in al-ikhsan stores.

The long sleeve world cup 2010 argentina home kit is almost non existence in any store online or local at the moment. Maybe there will be one later

I have a funny feeling that this is a new rate for express shipping (outside UK) for Malaysia. And I suspect there is a new rate for other countries as well

I have sent an email to kitbag and waiting for their confirmation. My suspicion is that there will be a new rate for express delivery, no thanks to UPS.

And not only kitbag has this new price.. United Direct too as well..

Those jerseys have the old express shipping rate because they were launched earlier compared to Arsenal and Man United.

Isn't it a coincidence that Arsenal's new kit and United were effected?

Now I found out..

If the total price of all items in the basket is below £50, the express shipping rate to Malaysia is £33.

If the total price of all items in the basket is above £50 but below £60, the express shipping rate to Malaysia increases to £36.67!

If the total price of all items are above £60 but below £80, the express shipping rate to Malaysia increases to £40.45!

If above £80.. the express shipping rate to Malaysia is £44.24!

Well.. this could be because of pre-launching, dunno why.

And strangely the shipping rate for normal shipping (using royal mail) is still the same at £6.95.

I've emailed kitbag and asked about the shipping rate. If got time, I'll call them later tonight and ask them directly. See how it goes
