No one is saying that sellers should not make profit. But pls la, don't make too much profit and try to justify by comparing with manufacturers etc simply because no 'hard' work was actually done!

I know of one group of sellers, selling at profit, but still lower than market price! You know why? Less greed, that's the reason. They can sell at multiple times higher, but didn't, even if the item is/was rare. Now that's what ethical selling is all about. You know what? They can sleep well at night as well, no guilt whatsoever. Priceless.

What's this scary manipulating bullcrap ehh?? I'll tell you one thing that is not on my-fjc though. No overpriced selling on my-fjc. No collectors trying to rip other collectors off.
*
Agreed. Malaysians tend to sweep everything under the carpet, eh? Either that or most of them just keeps quiet and 'wishes' everything will go away. Mind you, most of us are very forgetful as well.

All I'm saying is, there will be unethical sellers out there. Ample warnings are posted here. Up to you to choose who do you want to buy from, just don't come back in here and complain about getting fleeced, when everyone told you to stay clear from such sellers.

Nuff said.

I just find it funny that there's only 1 guy in 1 corner, with the rest in the other corner. Pretty much shows who's guilty eh?

And if any of you don't understand English or English not too good, maybe BM? Sesiapa makan cili, dialah yang rasa pedas. Hope that's clear.

Again, nuff said.

That's a crazy price!

For the benefit of myself and pyroboy1911, do name the seller. At least then we know if he is a wolf in sheep's clothing (pretending to be a collector but is a reseller) and that other members of this thread can give his/her sales a wide berth.

After all, that's why we are all in this thread, aren't we?

Again like what chcher said, move on. Ample warnings have been posted, it's up to the buyers to decide if they are getting the real deal or not.

And the respected seller? Well, at least he's not making exorbitant profits from information NOT obtained by himself, of which IS the point here.

I see, again, my information is obtained from them, seems like my Nike World Cup NNs or any other things are getting info from them as well. Sorry bro, i got my own supplier for the Sporting ID products, don't every think that you are the only one to have and they are plenty of M'sian able to get as well. At least, hopefully i able to offer the Man Utd UCL NNs cheaper that those LYN seller depends on how many digits of no. Thank you
*
The first thing about a debate/argument is, get your arguments correct and/or facts right. If you read properly (even with your current understanding of English) a lot of the posts here geared towards the unethical seller selling off the MU kits at Mudah/eBay for high profits, multiple of those normally earned by retailers. These kits were obtained using info gained from another forum, be it directly or indirectly. Never were the posts about your current products obtained from Sporting ID.

And my heartiest congratulations to you getting original Sporting ID products direct from the supplier, and yes, I know plenty of Malaysians are able to get them as well. And please la, I know who you are getting from, and your pricing/cost as well. Hence, did I ever question the prices on these products? No, because I know that your prices are competitive. We will give credit when it's due, and not otherwise mate.

I've already said to move on already from this debate, seems that you are the one who keeps bringing it back up.

Traditionally, women's kits in KL are few and far between, I think only some teams that i've seen with women kits are Man Utd, Germany, Liverpool, etc. Best bet is online via Kitbag, United Direct, etc.

Some of the collectors here normally will host bulks to get multiple kits to share cost of postage, so maybe you can hang around in here, or maybe ask if someone is buying online soon, so that you can tumpang.

Of course, do make sure that you've done your homework as well, i.e. check all postage costs, conversion rates, discount links, etc before committing with the bulk hosters. Some of them are in it to make fast bucks i.e. by charging you higher conversion, higher postage, etc etc.

ACM home long sleeve is generally much easier to find as compared to ACM away/3rd long sleeve. Check out the usual online stores as per 1st page by July/Aug and I'm sure they'll be there by then.

Not all doom and gloom though. I remember LFC did say that the Euro letterings will be used for Cup games as well? So if that's the case, the letterings will be correct as they utilise the EPL patches for the earlier rounds of the Cups.

That is, if they are not going to introduce another special patch for the Cups la.

RRP for most Adidas kits are RM259.90, while for Nike RM259.00. Namesets are priced at RM99 per set. Better hurry, Spain namesets are selling like hotcakes, and as far as I know, these are still available;

1. Torres 9
2. David Villa 7
3. Xavi 8
4. A Iniesta 6

good luck!

QUOTE(Ahlok @ Jun 25 2010, 11:58 AM)
hi aw13, can i bring my jersey to al-ikhsan & ask them to print the nameset on my jersey?

is there any size difference for the namesets? eg:between M size & XL size jersey
*
hi Ahlok

Yes you can bring your kit to Al-Ikhsan and get them to print the namesets for you. They may charge additional RM10 if you were to bring both kits and namesets on your own (bought elsewhere) but if you were to buy the namesets from them, no charge for printing. IINM la.

There are no difference in sizes of namesets, all one size only. However, I'd advice to go for longer names for bigger kits, so as to 'fill' up the back of the shirt. Sometimes short names look quite 'small' on big shirts, and conversely, long names may not fit on small shirts.

I'd go for David Villa 7 laugh.gif

yes. i interested to get David Villa 7 too. might change to Torres if he score tonight  laugh.gif

for David Villa 7, will it be too long for my size M?

IINM = If I'm Not Mistaken

David Villa 7 would be ok for your M, just nice. Actually, the names available for Spain are all excellent players in their own right, from playmakers to goalscorers and matchwinners.

Like they say, good things not cheap, cheap things not good.

And like what arvil22 said, WC namesets are in PU sets, and can be applied within 5-10 mins, depending on the queue.

Just ask staff at Al-Ikhsan for WC2010 namesets, and they'll know which ones to get you. Alternatively you can show them your shirt, and they'll know what namesets you are looking for, especially newer shirts.

And don't worry, Al-Ikhsan sells all original kits, patches and namesets, despite what you may hear from other ppl/forums.

aw13 is honorary lifetime member and non-executive director of the Al-Ikhsan Sports Sdn. Bhd. His job duties include:

1. supervising the handling and managing of the football jerseys and printings departments of Al-ikhsan all over Malaysia

2. promoting the arrival and availability of stocks to the public through medias like the internet

3. Eliminating any competition to Al-Ikhsan via any means necessary.

I qoute the above from his biography found in the ALi website, changing his real name to his nick to adhere to his privacy policy.

Ai ya you guys before Al-Ikhsan come out and sue me la! haha

Actually, to tell you the truth, it's nice to hang around sometimes helping out new collectors in sourcing, application etc. Kinda fun to watch the newbies getting the hang of jersey-collecting, very satisfying at times. Part of the same reason why myself and schmeichel7 initiated My-FJC as well. Of course, along the way, we did meet up with some taiko collectors, but to me no use if you can't share the knowledge and information around, so that everyone can enjoy the passion of collecting kits.

There are some ppl whom I've met who are very very reluctant to 'reveal' sources, and sometimes come across very arrogant. I've met the same type of ppl here online as well, so goes to show that not everyone likes to share. Of course, there are the risks that some information may be misused, but hopefully such information shared are still beneficial to the collecting world at large, as opposed to the profiteers.

And the promotion? No monetary benefits involved, just that I feel it's sometimes very sad to see some collectors looking high and low for items that are readily available in KL. And Al-Ikhsan's BB Plaza stocks are all original, competitively priced and also quite up-to-date, so what's the harm in sharing such information? smile.gif

@arvil22 - RM 1011 home kit out only in Adidas/Al-Ikhsan, no namesets yet. maybe later this year when the European season starts proper.

@ahlok - that new edition should be the 2-kit adidas 2010 WC Federation pack, a commemorative memoribilia consisting of 1 Techfit Spain WC2010 home kit and a retro Spain kit. RRP is between RM899 - RM999, not confirmed as yet.
