Another question, how do I get sharp images when my Xbox is connected to a 19" monitor? Because I'm using a TV Box/ VGA Transcoder, there are 4 inputs; VIDEO, S-VIDEO, YPBPR and TV. VIDEO input has color, but images shown on screen is blurry. Switching to YPBPR sharpens the images, but lacks color.

For those who have experience in this, I need some assistance in ensuring proper inputs between the RCA connector and the 5-port color MMI AV cable:

[MMI AV CABLE]
Green = Y
Blue = Pb
Red = Pr
White = L
Pink = R

[RCA CONNECTOR]
White
Red
Yellow

Suggestions are appreciated.

1) you eject your game disc when you go back to yr dashboard. (example: when u feel like not playing anymore press the xbox logo button, press Y to quit to console, then only you eject your disc out.

2) you should select recover gamertag during the setup process to get yr GT that you created over xbox.com

I thought when you press the eject button you are immediately taken back to the dashboard.
Don't think you can corrupt the disc since its read only. Perhaps your saved game got bad or disc got damaged

@iccyasd: I tried recovering, but I keep getting the "Xbox LIVE isn't available in the locale associated with this Windows Live ID. Please create a new profile" Changing both of my Gamertag and the online locations to SG doesn't help.

@gavind: I don't want to end up spoiling the drive since it happened to my old Xbox. That's why I'm pretty skeptical :s

Added on May 14, 2010, 3:01 pmProblem 1 solved. I had to log into my Windows Live ID and change the region to SG.

Any re-assurance on question 2? biggrin.gif

DVD drive corrupted? that's the first i heard hmm.gif
bad flash by jack sparrow causing the drive to be unusable got la, but corrupted by ejecting while playing? dun think it's possible

btw, why would u want to change disk while still playing? multi disk game will tell u when it's needed to swap disk...
or just go back to dashboard to eject the tray, safest such way

@greyshadow: It happened to the old Xbox and it couldn't read any DVDs because ejecting the disc while playing causes the whole system to restart abruptly.

Well, I can't just play 1 game per day so I need a change smile.gif I'll use the dashboard method then.

And thanks guys for the answers. Looks like I can close this topic for now rclxms.gif
