Hi,
What is difference between ATi HD5470, GMA 4500MHD, Nvidia G105M?

By the way, pls recommend me which model i should go for;

1. Dell Inspiron 13R, i5 430M + ATi HD5470, Home Basic@RM2799 ~~ comes with External DVD-Drive
2. Toshiba T130, SU7300 + GMA 4500MHD@RM3099 *no DVD

Actually im looking for light laptop.
Both units are met my requirement. Weight also almost same.

Just curious their performance and value for money. Thanks.

if u juz wanna know spec, u can take a look at here: http://forum.lowyat.net/topic/1109389

if u wanna go less technical, basically its HD5470 > G 105M > GMA X4500MHD...

there is somewhere in between the 2 models u mention in both performance and price, Dell Inspiron M301Z...

Thanks for your info.

Another thing is regarding the battery, is't toshiba T130 is more long lasting then Dell 13R?
From spec i noticed T130 can last up to 9.5 hours, but dell 13R only up to 4 hours...

it is because T130 using CULV processor... which is using low power processor.. hence less consume battery power/energy @ energy saving..

but the CULV processor is slower than core i3/i5 processor sweat.gif  so not recommended if u use the CULV laptop for heavy task..

Oic.
Actually i had post my enquiry few days ago.
Here i re-post again.

1. The weight must below 1.7kg. (Main priority)
2. Microsoft office (word, excel..).
3. Online purpose.
4. Run stand alone software (maximum up to 3 stand alone software run in 1 time).
5. Must have 3 USB port.
6. Not prefer AMD CPU. (No offen. Just personaly don't like it.)
7. Brand prefer - I'm fine with all the brands.
8. Budget - up to RM4.5K.
**9. Long lasting battery. Prefer up to 4 hours above.
**10. Not prefer MAC laptop.

So what do u think which model is suit for me? I mean from this two model 13R or T130..
Else what others model u will recommend?

what software you always run..? if heavy software with heavy task.. CULV not recommended..
if light software with light task.. CULV is okay with it..

T130 still okay...

another laptop that i can recommend is..
Dell Vostro 3300 [i5-520M+ G310M] for RM 3199
Dell Latitude E6410 [i5 520M +GMA HD] for RM 4199
Dell Latitude 13[SU7300 + GMA HD] for RM 2999 << the lightest around RM 1.52kg with battery
*
Some stand alone software like programming PLC, Omron..
Estimated will run maximum 2 - 3 software in one time.
Other things will used for online stock check (web base), surfing and msn purpose.
Microsoft office like excel, word, powerpoint might run at the same time also.

Do u think all these task can categarize as heavy used?
