Toshiba claims the Portege can last up to 11 hours..
I don't think there's an i5 variant Both the U5400 and i3-330UM should be better than the previous SU4100/SU7300. But between U5400 and the i3, dunno which 1 is better |

All running on 6-cell batteries
The "old" T110 and T130 battery life was claimed to be 11 hours, new ones not so sure, cannot find in the official Toshiba brochure |

QUOTE(Ultima @ Jul 12 2010, 11:36 PM) ok im gonna get myself u35jc this week.. The Toshiba Portege T230 is not meant for gaming at all... its meant for battery life.. hence the ASUS would definitely be the better choice i5-450m 2gb ddr3 nvidia 310m 1gb gddr3 13" win7 hp 500gb 5400rpm battery can last around 8-10 hours less than 2kg around rm3k is thr any other laptop that is around same performance like this one? i saw the ad for toshiba t series, the one with i3-330um, around 3k also, but in terms of battery n proc power, asus got better deal imo.. |

QUOTE(Borsch Soup @ Jul 20 2010, 06:05 PM) Only Intel HD available. Well, there are i5 and i7 variants which should be able to handle most normal tasks without a problem~I am Ok with the i3 CPU. Not sure if the Intel HD sufficient or not. Not a gamer mostly Haha, definitely not gamers, probably girls only will buy ba because of the design? But still they might still fell for Vaios |

QUOTE(lee_what2004 @ Jul 20 2010, 06:21 PM) Don't think Intel has something like that.... The old DV 3 was very very hot (in terms of temperature)... wonder is there a change in the cooling system For the similar price, might as well take HP DV3, 13'' with i7 720QM.... The R700 boast of a specialized cooling system, dunno effective or not also haha This post has been edited by [PF] T.J.: Jul 20 2010, 07:57 PM |
