Does the Inspiron 15R come with warranty? If so how long is it? And how much will it cost?

what 13" lappy with i5, backlit keyboard, gonna use for browsing, programming php + mysql, a lil bit of gaming (light online) and long battery life.

Was looking at that but my girlfriend had a compaq cq36 110tx previously which had a core i5 420 ( I think) . Will there be a notable speed decrease ?

i3 380M has higher clocks than i5 430M...
2.53GHz vs 2.26GHz.. i5 430M could only turbo 1 core to 2.53Ghz while i3 380M both cores will run at 2.53Ghz... This post has been edited by lee_what2004: Feb 14 2011, 11:42 PM |

Just realised that the 3820TG does not have an optical drive.
So now i am looking at the dv3-4121tx mainly cause i want an optical drive. Are there any other alternatives? My budget is around 2.5k or lower and must be 13.1 inches. |

If want optical drive, can't get anything better than HD5470 except Vaio Z, but overbudget..
