is lens hood essential ?
im using kit lens without lens hood wow...

if u got the money then go ahead n splurge
but its no difference than class 6 on D5000(lame slow 4fps  )
so its up to u to spend more on sumthg u dun utilize or sumthg cheaper
y do u wan to buy the hood? can tell me reason?
dun tell me is to make d lens look cooler 
sory if i sounded harsh, but its quite true u dun reli nid hood on kitlens, or Nikon will provide it together
but i wont stop u frm buying la, it does help a bit when shooting outdoor under strong sunlight
jz advising maybe u shud save to get other stuffs

oic.. maybe hunting for travel lens then enough...

when needed, just use your hand as the hood just make sure you don't get your hand in the frame though.

you could just get a class 6, that should be enough. unless you plan to upgrade to D90, then you can go for class 10 16GB

not say the hood totally useless, but i rather spend d cash on better stuffs, i thk d hood is overpriced

high speed card makes difference when shooting in continuous n video recording only
class 6 more than enuf for D3000 n D5000
if Sandisk their Ultra class 4 is good too

just bought HOYA filter: CIR-POLARIZING 52 for my standard len. Now waiting to buy 55-200mm.

i found 1 shop at lowyat that he's selling 55-200mm around RM790, why? he want to clear the stock.

he told me that he got more than 15 units for 55-200mm. he show me 1 big box contain 55-200mm

i check other shop that sell 55-200mm around 900 to 1k. only that shop sell 790

Damn my d90 also have one small spot (not sure dust or fungus) inside the viewfinder. It's still under warranty though, if I send to nikon centre i wont get charged even a cent right?

yup i used it for a while. it's ok to use it in bright daylight cause of the aperture, widest is f/6.3. other than that, if taking night shots then i use a tripod. it's good for its budget price

which is better? 35 prime or 50 prime???
