Some people don't have hard feelings but some have...
By reffering to your posts #1656 you said : lol, for a <rm1k lens, it's sharp d, beggars cant b choosy

Well, that kinda offended me, just watch out what you type, you don't know you may hurt someone's feelings.
Just a friendly reminder.  smile.gif

swwwwwwt, dat 1 not saying u 'beggar ' la sweat.gif
that is an English 'Simpulan Bahasa', im using it jz to say shudn compare cheap stuffs with exp stuffs, no offense
another meaning is to say u get wat u pay, very common term used here n always no offense 1

seriously, if i've hurt u or insulted u in anyway, i deeply apologise, but pls dun go bad temper due to minor misunderstanding sad.gif

18-55 > 18-105 in sharpness isn't it? yawn.gif

I don't think it is due to shallow dof, because I can't find where it was focused hmm.
*
well, i dunno, those pics were taken more than half a yr ago, n d last time i used 55-200 was last yr, so i can try now
but my conclusion is its due to my lack of skills, not d lens fault
actually i got some reli reli sharp pics taken with it, but r pics of my frens, quite private so cant post here

anyway, i dowan continue this topic bout 55-200 d, i said wat i knew(or wat i thk it is) bout 55-200
having phobia of this topic now, my answers kinda will hurt many ppl's feelings sad.gif

so nxt, celcius u got close up pics of d GTR safety car? would love to c it biggrin.gif

u re in Nikon thread. surely people will suggest u to get Nikon.
1000D has AF motor and lie view but not D3000.
Nikon has larger lcd screen nice body compare to canon to me tongue.gif
*
wrong info, shud say Canon no nid worry about AF motor issues, as their system is have AF motor on lenses

add 1 more, 1000D has d infamous error 99 issue, n its 18-55 is infamous for having AF motor dead issue

i know, Nikon's solid feel thumbup.gif

QUOTE(~funeralofheart~ @ Jun 23 2010, 10:07 PM)
but, from this site ,the comparison btw both seems like 1000d is better than d3000...mmm

1000D may be better than D3000 mainly cos 1000D uses CMOS sensor while D3000 still uses old CCD sensor

Sony lower end models also weird but higher end not sure.

i know, tried 5DMkII n 1DMkIII b4, but still d sexiest sound is frm D3/D3s continuous shoot wub.gif

tried Sony lower n mid entry b4 only, their shutter sounds very clunky, like the shutter very heavy feel

QUOTE(edwardgsk @ Jul 1 2010, 03:48 AM)
Not as in really "die", but malfunction and might spoiled as the snow melt and water enters the dslr.
D5k is not weatherproof, bear in mind.
*
i shoot in heavy snow in Paris with large amount of snow on my D5k oso no problm, even after melt oso ntg
n dat was Paris heaviest snow fall in 5 years
i even shoot b4 in slight shower, no problm oso
although not weatherproof, i guess even entry level DSLR has better weather sealing compare to non weather sealed PnS

QUOTE(celciuz @ Jul 1 2010, 07:57 AM)
Battery will die faster due to low temperature. Probably risk of ice condensation in the body when you move from outdoor (cold) to indoor (warm) perhaps.

dats wat i worried dat time when to Paris(-9C!), but surprised 1 battery can last me 800+ shots over duration of 3 days
