how do u guys take portrait shot in broad daylight wt flash? (fill in flash methods)
i usually use M mode & whenever i pop up my flash, shutter sync only limited up to 1/200s & shot will bcome underexpose. icon_question.gif icon_question.gif

- no fp high speed sync in D5000 sweat.gif

You need to use an external flash capable of doing fast sync to go above 1/200s shutter speed limit eg. SB900.
*

tried sb-900 but still limits to 1/200s. furthermore no fp high speed sync in d5000...

Alamak, can't turn on FP? In that case, you can't use flash for outdoors most of the time since you most likely go above 1/200s.
*

thats y bro. even if i crank up d aperture till f/36 & lo down d iso, its still above 1/200s cry.gif . no fp...dang this d5000 limitations cry.gif
my hand really itchy wanna buy d90 now sweat.gif ...

I found that 50mm f/1.4G gives nicer colour on crop sensor compared to f/1.4D wor. Auto focus also faster. Am i the only one who felt this way?

Added: On D90/D300
*

how much d price for f/1.4D anyway?

Hmm let say i bought my camera on 20/4/2010. I don't fill the warranty card.

Then when it's for example 1/9/2010 i want to send for cleaning, can i fill in i bought on 1/8/2010 or so (as if the warranty extended 4 months)? Do they check both warranty card and receipt if I fill it myself?

Or don't take the risk, just fill the exact date i bought?
*

get other receipt with later date...
