I juz bought the Aster at 120 with 1 receiverl n 1 remote b4 I go travel, very useful to take pics where the background is bright but your far subject is low light  , coz sometimes in bright situation, my Nissin photodetector cant sense my body flash.
Spam pics wit ur new lens la bro, mayb some bird shot outside ur window, show the power or ur lens, not pics showing ur new lens.... nth much to show bout it......
Absolutely agreed, I've tested both, at 200mm, slightly dim condition, i.e inside shopping mall, u will hav pain in ur ass without VR, need not to say 300. Even with VR, ur hand also need to b quite steady at 200mm, unless ur pump up ur iso above 800.

Juz pump the iso up above 800 la, even 1600 oso no prob!! slightly higher noise is better den u miss a damn nice shot, u will bang ur head when u reach home n found out those pics r blur.....

I think Malacca is a nice place to take pics la... those heritage building, Malacca river, personally I haven try b4, but u can ask Maxhehe, he had his wedding photoshot there.....  I only been to penang which also has those heritage building like Malacca, those pics r really nice
