hi guys, i am thinking to a get 1 unit of DSLR. basically it just for family use. not into photography business. have tried D40 and D60, have a look at D90 (staring my friend snaps pictures using this model). so, for beginner like me, which model is appropriate for me? better to get a used set or a new set?

How's ur 35mm performing? good bokeh? any complaints?

D5000 upgrade to D90 for what? for the AF motor and commander flash? Better save for ur lenses and maybe FX ^^

Since u actually thought of upgrading to d90, it will be around RM2450+ for the body. saving more can get u a 50mm F1.4G or tele lenses, d90 is not too far superior than d5000 especially in noise control, d5000 is very good already.

Next upgrade on body will at least be D300S lor bro =D
