As cursive writing is so rare among young generation now.
also wonder which generation are you from, early 70's, early 80's, mid 80's, late 80's or early 90's or mid 90's lol.

Just to note that block letters that join together to each other does not automatically make the handwriting cursive. Cursive writing is very distinctive from block letters. Here are the examples.

see how the "S" "P" "s" "b" "k" "f" and others are very different from the block letters way of writing.

I think (how to read) it can be learned just like chinese characters / tamil letters / jawi letters. Just need to see more, and brain will remember what pattern is what word.
the fact that u haven't know how to read it is maybe because u have not read those type of handwriting enough in your life, and when u encounter a word that u don't know, no one is there to "interpret" it for you. smile.gif
