Good News! The "God" hack has been fixed and can no longer work in Rakion SEA Servers. Together with the Slam N' Sale Promo Patch (Frozen Summer patch in RIS), the hack has been fixed.

We actually banned only a couple of offenders while waiting for Softnyx and nProtect to deliver the fix to the hack (included in the Frozen Summer patch). Blocking their IPs would not solve much as these IPs may or may not be i-cafes and therefore the hackers could just go to another cafe to hack. But nevertheless, we are trying our best to speed up things involving fixing hacks and bugs.

The skulls are to be collected and when the RSS website (rakion.mobiusgames.net) updates within this week, there will be a redemption page for the skulls. Discounts, summons (pets) and accessories can be exchanged for a number of skulls. But these items are limited so one should collect now so that he can immediately redeem his/her prize once the redemption page is up.

Honestly, one can detect a hacker by observing while playing. Most of us here observe while playing in events, while going in rooms (using our intel characters) and playing, talking to players who may know of hacks and bugs. It is also applicable to casual players, if there is something odd in the way the games/matches are going, then by all means observe more or investigate or simply send a report via email to info@mobius.ph.

We are open to any observation and report about anything in Rakion. We will then conduct our own investigation towards the report to verify it.

As for migration, the allowed duration for RIS players to migrate their accounts was already due last June, before Rakion Reloaded was launched. Weren't you aware of the migration page which pops up before you can enter your username and password in the old RSS game launcher?

PM me your username in RIS and your username in RSS (no passwords, only usernames and character names) so we can check if we can still do something about it.

Kindly uninstall the game, delete all related files, download the installation files or game client, re-install the game, then test run....

Yes, I am from the Philippines.

The problems you face are the normal problems you will encounter in a peer-to-peer game like Rakion. Other games include Gunz, Freestlye and other casual games which uses room as areas of play and can only work properly if the connection between the players are compatible.

When we launched Rakion Reloaded last June 18, 2007, we hoped and tried to address this problem. The reloaded system of Rakion was designed to make the communication in between connections faster and in an essence "less entangled". As you can see, internet connection from different countries differ thus the network connecting them is often too tangled up that the server cannot even read how much of a lag you are to one another.

With the reloaded version of rakion, the system makes the communication of lag faster and thus giving you a higher possible chance to connect with more players than before. But just to remind you, the lag problem is not the thing that is fixed. The fix is to help players get into a room much faster than before.

We are still trying to fix the lag problem. It has been the main source of distaste from players. Rest assured we are going to continue to try and improve our service.

Yes, we guessed it is. There are some points in a match/round wherein one's connection to the server is interrupted thus causing a freeze. This may be due to "entangled" connections or more often than not, CPU Usage overload. Be sure that when you play Rakion, no other program is running in the background and no other bandwidth-consuming activity is on going to experience maximum Rakion gameplay.

Most of the GM Events happen in Arena 2, and the passwords are removed once all the GMs are in the room to avoid annoying players who keep coming in the room and getting the slots reserved for the GMs....

There is a schedule of events posted in the Official Rakion Southeast Asian Service forums at http://forums.mobiusgames.net

There will also be in-game announcements about the events. Most of the events fall at 2pm, 5pm and 7pm (PH time).

I will be expecting more malaysian players in events.

Gunbound Philippines was re-migrated to Gunbound International to provide both servers more players and more challenges.

The best way to get back at those critics is to kill/pawn them then type "^^" or "/gg" then smile. GMs even get those "noob" comments on GM events. We just smile. Haha!

Thanks for giving your fellow players a good tip.

We do miss playing with archers and ninjas in GM events. Some good archers even win frequently than Blacksmiths.

Don't worry, we are always monitoring the hackers. Not just the hackers but the hacks used as well. It is better to fix the hack first than just catching hackers all day right? Rest assured we are doing our best to be in control of the situation always.

For those who are asking for you username and password in exchange for a promise of gifting rakion cash or gold or whatever, please do not share your account name and password to anyone as your account will be vulnerable to account hacking. It is the sole responsibility of the account owner to be careful in divulging account information to anyone. We are not in any way liable to any loss in your account if you have given someone the password to it. GMs and Admins do not, and i repeat, DO NOT ask for you any player's PASSWORD.
