I'm a newbie in property industry and would like to try my luck investing in one of the new developments.. What's your thought towards damansara avenue? They are launching the office suites tomorrow and I'll drop by to see if it's worth for a grab?

Land Tenure: Freehold
Total unit : 198
No of storey : 8 storey (2-storey lifestyle retail - for lease, 6 storey signature office suites - for sale)
Built-up area: 547 sqf - 4094 sqf
Price Range : RM268,000 - RM2,011,000
Booking fee : RM5000-10000

8% early bird discount, S&P borne by developer

I'll be going for the launch tomorrow as well.. Any thoughts to share whether it's a good grab say if I were to buy the smallest unit 574 sqf at approx rm270k?

RM418 psf isn't exactly cheap in my opinion.  But I haven't really gone through ALL the reading material so don't take my word for it.

However, 574sqf would certainly seem v small, no?

thx for merging into 1 post... hmm I'd a tight budget tat's y going for the smallest unit.. Yea the price tag isnt cheap considering the location but I was thinking if the whole development plan works out, it should pretty bring up the price isnt it? I'm not sure about the appreciate value for office suites or shall I wait for their residential units?

For your curiosity, the project initial rendering has been covered on my blog, as per the link below.

If I'm not mistaken, there's also another large project coming up nearer towards LDP Bukit Lanjan toll opposite Damansara Perdana. The whole area there will be filled with skyscrapers 10 years from now.
