Any idea what's the equivalent specs of this HP X23LED LCD Monitor for other brand?
I'm doing a price vs value comparison but has been baffled by a lot of "specs" that I don't really understand.

QUOTE(nightshade_nova @ Sep 13 2010, 03:27 AM) the first thing u need to know is the panel type. My brief search shows that only Dell provides the information about panel type (TN or IPS).TN is normal, IPS is much better picture quality.in short, IPS can make your jaw drop.hehe second is the resolution.better search for full hd, 1920x1080 or higher. then the input, if no hdmi, means no built in speaker, maybe leceh if you wanna plug in consoles.(like me, got a ps3) other than that, you shouldnt worry too much, unless you work with graphics and picture editing or something. for good deals, check this out. save more than rm300. http://forum.lowyat.net/index.php?showtopic=1547271&hl= The other 2 brands (HP and Samsung) I looked into does not tell. But I think they are TN. |

It really looks cool with a touch screen monitor, but if you intend to use the monitor with a normal computer usage (ie games, internet) then I think you'll find that the touch screen serves no purpose.
I guess if you only use the computer for movies and music, then the touch screen can saves up space of keyboard and mouse. Or you want to draw, but I'm not sure if it's sensitive enough for that (never care enough to research on that). But then still, is it ergonomical to lean quite far off to draw on the monitor, rather than a drawing tablet on desk. IMHO. |

I had no problem dealing with them for the 2 notebooks (bought different time) I bought years ago.
I guess the lack of stock is causing all these problems to you. And perhaps me too |
