QUOTE(ktek @ Oct 18 2010, 10:04 PM) while surfing net, suddenly saw a few new products from BenQ MY highlights: XL2410T --23.6" monitor 120Hz EW2420 --24" multimedia monitor LED +VA panel BL2400PT --24" business monitor, LED +VA panel if price are good, Dell MY and IPS family got challenger liao Considering the stands, they're still no challenge in my book. I like to be able to adjust mine. Also, with Dell UltraSharps, you can buy three monitors, switch them to portrait mode and then Eyefinity them together. Gaming nirvana? Perhaps.

What a big bezel... Well, we shall wait for the reviews to do the talking. Specification can't tell anything as yet. Found this very useful article for those who don't know about panels. This article is talking about panels, NOT backlight technology. http://www.pchardwarehelp.com/guides/lcd-panel-types.phpThis post has been edited by wildwestgoh: Oct 19 2010, 08:15 AM

QUOTE(karhoe @ Oct 20 2010, 11:43 AM) If VA panel good for your eyes by all means go for it va panel was known for having slow response rate, but the highest-end lcd tv that was used by sony and samsung are using va panel. The only company that make ips panel are panasonic and lg display.Im not saying IPS are bad,but we accept effort from manufacture to produce low price IPS panel for mobile phone and computer monitor to replace cripple tn panel. However how good lcd tech is, i still favor oled and plasma tech This post has been edited by zerorating: Oct 20 2010, 04:25 PM

I didn't find anything that's fit that kind of feature. Anyway, all the professional and ultrasharp model from Dell has "Height-Adjustable stand, tilt and swivel" you can turn it sideway 45 degree if I'm not mistaken, really great if you want show it to people on the left or right without moving the whole stand.

I think I read wrongly.. Hmm I do have 1 of the Dell LCD with the adjustable mount. I mean other manufacturer, if you insist on adjustment it's really limited option right now

Well, most of the TN panels monitor won't have adjustable stand, don't think they ever need it? Just my opinion. Dell professional monitor however is different story, probably for business sector where they use it a lot.

You will need it.. just that most dont bother about it, how many of us having the same height, and also height of your table isn't the same for everyone. It's taken out for costing issue i guess
