QUOTE(vearn27 @ Jun 22 2010, 09:55 AM) Guys, Anyone has recommended calibration settings for Dell ST2410? The color just dull compared with IPS just need to calibrate according to lagom.nl only difference I notice with ST and U series after calibration is the saturation~ ST2210 after calibration looks much better but U series take out of the box already calibrated accurately~ Added on June 22, 2010, 10:56 amQUOTE(BeastX @ Jun 21 2010, 07:15 PM) 6ms GTG..... will be about 2x as long for BTWTB.... which is 12 to 13 ms.. thanks~ very informative~ I was looking for this piece of info This post has been edited by sexualpower: Jun 22 2010, 10:56 AM

a bit tricky when it comes to gaming coz ST series provides faster response but lower saturated pictures as compared to U series~

QUOTE(mark @ Jun 25 2010, 10:36 AM) Go to dell.com.my front page, click on "For Small and Medium Business" --> "Electronics, Software & Accessories", then look for the monitor. You won't get this discount if you clicked on "For Home". can home users order from the "For Small and Medium Business" section?~

QUOTE(dasoulz @ Jun 25 2010, 12:21 PM) Thanks Mark. Btw, is the lack of HDMI input a concern? i think it's important for consoles and laptops coz a review on laptop mentioned poorer performance of VGA output~

QUOTE(mark @ Jun 28 2010, 04:19 PM) Seems like this is a global thing -- I've seen users in Hardocp forum also complaining that it's out of stock... Lol, nice... mine stated it will reach on 30th June... but I received a call from Dell today saying they'll deliver tomorrow may go up in price then~

QUOTE(darkheloizea @ Jul 1 2010, 02:58 PM) i dunno if this is da rite place to ask.. 1) why my LCD,when run vid/mov at 720p above or running game.the fast movement is not sharp, something like flash..is it because the response time or other thing?is it more sharp if i go for LCD with HDMI? (spec:X4 945,HD4770,Acer X203H via DVI,acbel me2 350w) if it jerks like what everling mentions, it's because of low processing power~ there's also the possibility that your digital link isn't good (if u're using DVI)~ better to use VGA in my opinion~

QUOTE(BeastX @ Jul 1 2010, 04:53 PM) There is no possibility.... being digital... 1 or 0... yes or no. .... what u may observe is "sparkies", lost signal for very long dvi/hdmi cables, that has no relation to what being displayed on screen. Added on July 1, 2010, 5:00 pmInadequate processor(s) power or inferior/incompatible codec thank u again~ i always look forward to your posts that is generous to share wisdom~ yeah, sparkies due to long dvi cables~ i read that somewhere~ i have a question that I'm puzzled as well when I was using DVI; can a movie be shortened because of a DVI cable being used instead of VGA? (could be my DVD corrupted, just wanna make sure before I throw it away)~

QUOTE(BeastX @ Jul 5 2010, 07:13 PM) 2005 laptop can read.... rip or copy the dvd image... transfer the image file to your computer's hdd (or burn another copy)... there should be no error... As I mentioned this will be due to the disk un-able to be read by your PC's dvd-rom drive, but apparently is fine on your laptop's dvd-rom drive. ... Also one reason I have a few dvd-drives around to read bad DVDs... vga or dvi.... restart your PC instead..... or just shut-down your PC, disconnect DVI, connect VGA, restart your PC.... done. i tried transferring the file to my computer and it took less than 2min using my internal DVD~ the problem lies somewhere with between display setting and graphics card~ i highly suspect DVI~ thanks for the advise on restarting, I tried but still couldn't show anything on VGA but I'll try disconnecting the DVI cable altogether~

QUOTE(Jet23sky @ Jul 16 2010, 05:09 PM) I'm thinking of getting LED after I have watched the video that comparing between LCD and LED ( The white color is so much different ). But it seems like there isn't much LED in the market nowadays. Anyone got any recommendation? It must be 24inches LED. Budget wise should be ok. how about other colours?~ are they on par?~
