I'd rather buy the U2311H than the ST2410. Better colours, better features, better warranty, except that it doesn't support HDMI.

Anyone can tell me is that much different when connecting the LCD by D-Sub and by DVI-D?
As from last 2 thread, I looking for viewsonic LCD but it coming without DVI-D cable, so I will going to use D-Sub, is it recommended to use DVI-D. Any gain in quality? Normally what is the price for DVI-D cable ?

If the D-SUB looks fine, as in the colours are clear, sharp and steady, then there is no need for DVI-D.

RM 15 and below.... for the standard length.... I think I've around a dozen or so SL-DVI wires... two DL-DVI..

DVI is so very old school now .............. more than 1 decade already....

Is it wise to change from s2409w to the dell 23" ips panel considering that I love to play FPS and Racing games a lot plus I watch alot of Full HD movies.

The reason I asked is because, I'm worried that the 8ms response time gonna effect my viewing. Ghosting sucks but since I'm moving from 5ms to 8 ms, will I really notice the difference?

I read a lot reviews, some say they notice the difference but the other were saying the exact opposite.

Both the monitor and and manufacturer being cheap... cutting cost anyway possible... even cables (that may cost them a few RM)

I haven't tried the U2311 before, but the 6ms GTG for the Dell U2410 doesn't have any noticeable ghosting to me.

Human eyes and brains differ from one person to the next..... If your eyesight and your brain register superfast... you maybe annoyed... Best advise is to test it out with your own eyes, get a friend's/family or return/refund the monitor within a week (for Dell?)

Is it possible to get a full refund within a week? If it's possible then I may give it a try.

EDIT: Is it full refund? Any TnC that I should know about.

Damn, Dell customer service online chat is until 5pm only. I'll try ask them tomorrow. But in the mean time, if anybody here have the answer, let me know. thanks in advance~

Most of owner of Dell Ultrasharp lcd never complain their lcd have ghosting issue except LCD User which is did't own before, or having UltraSharp Eyes which is rare for human.

Mr BeastX is one of the best person you can ask for his experience about this ultrasharp series since him already own few model before.

For my case. no ghosting issue for my ultrasharp 2209WA (6ms) "millisecond" dude, faster then blink your eyes

I have 2209WA and I believe the non-standard aspect ratio adds up to the price. It has a 16:10 aspect ratio than the widely popular 16:9. Same goes to 17' 4:3 ratio monitor.

Good for me. 30% game, 10% movie, rest surf and work hence extra vertical space does help but depends on people. Being an IPS, its strengths have been discussed previously, nothing to add. No comparison with CCFL LCD/LED as I migrated from a CRT.
