If you're looking at the very general sharp up and outwards pointing lights, the smiling bumper and the outwards pointed tail lights with the increasingly outwards side skirt lines and the large rounded front wheel arch.. yes.. they share the same design que because they were both designed with the same "flow" language in mind.

Go and Google Mazda Nagare.

But IMO they look very far apart. The Mazda 2 has a very distinctive look all rounder and I have never mistaken a Mazda 2 for a Mazda 3 before, even in a glance. The 3 and 6 on the other hand.. it's a different story when looking at a glance.

i ll say go for mazda2 sedan... u wont regret.. but remember...mazda lack of space not a family car its a driver car...u ll enjoy handling cornerin amazin pick up... but shame still less s.part hope mazda ll improve
