I'm going to rent a room in Singapore but I'm not really understand about the system over here.

I notice that most rentals are needed to pay for agent. I just wondering whether these agents have already registered with any authorities or not. How do I make sure that the unit that I rent is legal? How do I find legal agent?

Regarding the bond, any authorities look after the bond? For example, in Victoria, Australia is under residential tenancies bond authority.

anyone has taken transbus before? Yesterday, during my way back to Malaysia I saw this bus. So, I would like to know the time for getting back to Sunway from Singapore for this bus. I went to its website, it only has 730am. I just wondering any evening bus. 1st coach 645 too early for me. I can't manage to reach on time. Yesterday, I took 'nice coach', it was awesome. I'm just wondering any other buses/coaches departing in the evening.
