As many previous posts mentioned, Rm7k job is a middle management pay in Msia; it definately has better career perspective compare to S3.8k which in singapore only entry level.
My SIL who hasn't even step out of school will start working next month at Singapore with a starting pay of S3.4k with ZERO working experiance. S3.8k is like 1-2 experiance pay in Singapore. After your friend finds out his pay is lower than some 2 years experiance young man, he will sure bang himself agaisnt the wall.
It is a no brainer decision to accept a higher profile job, get the experiance then jump ship to Singapore for managerial position which easily can fecth double of what he is being offered now.
