I am wondering whether this is a place where I need help or not, I guess I might give it a try.

Recently, I just quit my IT helpdesk job once the contract ended, and I'm currently looking job in Singapore and New Zealand. But I found out that looking a job in Singapore is very very tough . Because most of them do not reply you back even you have waited quite a long time. ( well basically I need to either follow up by email or phone of course >< ). I'm planning to jump to software engineer side which involved in Methodology management and small piece of coding. But I do not have any working experience before. ( I do have experience during college life which I've done few project such as final year project or diploma year project. )

Is it true that Singapore company will only need experience worker instead of fresh worker who plans to start all over again? I'm willing to learn though.

And one last thing. There are a lot of job outsourcing consulting company which wanted to hired people. But for my previous experience is that they will give you a nasty job and you have to work like a dog. ( Cause my previous job is consulting company given ) Is it worth trying those consulting company? My fren worked in Singapore and the Salary is just $1600 which he can't even save any money at all.

Anyone works in ASM Pacific Technology in Yishun Singapore? is its requirement kinda high or strict? I'm been given interview on Friday. So excited and nervous as well.

I'm currently looking for java programmer job position based in Singapore, I currently working in JB at the moment. Anyone got any news in which company might be hired this kind of position ? thanks.
