I guess some other forummer here more happy hahahl.

VIP is given by the casino based on the amount you "spend" at their casino. the 2000 is for entry for Singaporean and SPR.

it depends. last time in KL, i got bike and car, my weight is increasing like sky rocket. peak at 123KG. after came to singapore. because have to walk to MRT and stuff. if helped me keep fit and my weight drop a lot and feel more healthy that way. and also i don't have to worry about rainy days. and i find the trains and bus are all very punctual and the time is fixed every day. every morning, i reach MRT at 8am, 813am reach Yio Chu Kang MRT and there is a bus at 815am to my office. definitely i wont miss the schedule and will reach office before 830am. 7 months in SG. so far so good.

Hi Lester,

Not sure about your 2nd question but i dont believe they will be a fine since you only start paying income tax after working in singapore for at least a year and even if they do ask you to pay income tax, you pay it directly yo mom, not a deduction of pay from the company.
*
Hi crapp0,
Is it true u only have to pay income tax after one full year?
I thot it's only a diff between Tax Resident and Non-TR, eitherway still have to pay, but at different rate, rite?
Do correct me if im wrong.
Thanks.

I know one guy who's working for rws at the tables. He noticed quite a few malaysian datuks who play at the VIP tables, and as with malaysia as long as a person isnt in malaysia, people can do non-halal things in other countries and still be a holyman in malaysia.

*
First Datuk not necessary malay, malay not necessary muslim (altho in Msia it's more or less compulsory), muslim not neccesary holy. At the end it's between them and the one up / down there.

Anyone have any good headhunter or job agencies to recommend? I am looking around for a greener patch but not much offering for IT/banking project consultant at the usual sites (JobsDB, Jobstreet, etc).
