Its not hard to find a room. The only prob is price, location and whether you have a lemon of a landlord.

On another note, theres an increase of allowance for NS personnel. Not that it would matter to some NS fella's, i know a group of singaporean who have yet to serve on day of reservist duty and they are very proud of that fact and boast to me about it. They usually escape duty by paying a doctor to write a letter informing the army that the fella has some mental ailment or nervous breakdown. And the army never counter checks this and lap up the lie.

for 1.5y xp the guy is practically considered fresh cos he hasn't folo tru n complete a single project unless u r talking bout small projects like a house or a shop lot. even those projects r very minor cos they r using split units or at most vrv system. bigger projects running chilled water, district coolin would at least take 3-4y minimum in order to understand n grasp site n design works

if u r joinin the consultant line in a MNC msian about 2.3-2.5k sg 2.5-27k. local ones might pay u a bit lower
contractor high a bit cause u'll b based at site approx msian 2.5-2.7k sg 200 to 300 more.  should b the same tru out whether mnc or local. but mnc might be able to pay u ot locals one wont .

of cos contractor depending on the projects they r secure have better benefits n bonus compared to consultants

im looking for one hosted locally in singapore, my main concern is reliability, uptime and size of the mail boxes.

Currently i noticed malaysias exabytes mail box size is very large and their prices arent that bad, only prob is their server is in malaysia and i tried their network tool and the speed wasnt that great.

Im looking at 40-50 mail boxes and my budget is around $1000 annually. If possible i would like at least 1Gb per mail box or more.

I really think so. Am getting at least a call or email each week from recruiters since 2 or 3 months ago. Last time, 90% will just say that the client doesn't have the budget when I tell them what's the minimum salary before we continue talking (to filter out the non-starters and time wasters). Now... it's such a change. 2 out of 3 will readily say that the client's budget is more than enough, will pay out notice periods/secrecy/non-competitive clauses, will consider signing bonuses to compensate for accrued/deferred shares/bonuses/options or take my total years of experience into their retirement/termination packages etc.

Haven't seen such a bullish environment in the last 6 years I've been here. Really need to have a heart to heart with my bosses.

Hi, would like to know I'm at the late 20's with the salary in Malaysia as RM4K. Recently got an offer from Singapore for SGD2.8K. Would like to know am I being underpaid for this?
